I've been going to PJ Cinemas since the late seventies when it was known as "PJ Twins". It remains my most liked movie theater after all these years. Admission and refreshment prices are very reasonable. There are coupons online for an even better deal. With the coupon, admission for two adults is $15 and the refreshment deal is

That's the only way I might be paying $8-$12 for a tub of popcorn (although I am more then likely sneaking something in based solely on principal!). It has to be REALLY luxurious for me to go to those specialized theaters. Forget the other big theaters that charge those insane prices for popcorn, movie tickets, candy and soda that don't have the amazing seats that recline with food trays and are in leather!) I NEVER go to those anymore (Lowes and others similar) or bring children to those and none of family or friends go to those anymore. But it's also nice sometimes (and especially went to can't afford to splurge) to have a theater you know won't cost you an arm and a leg just to see a movie and have some popcorn. It appalls me that Lowes and the other big movie theaters charge SO MUCH for popcorn & soda (because they know that is most what is in demand), more then for hot food even! It's disgusting really, greedy and that is why I have been going to PJ Cinimas since I was a little girl and I still do at 46 years old! PJ Cinimas gets 90% of my business (10% goes to the reserved seats with food trays and recliners!) as well as all my friends and family's. Thank you PJ Cinimas owners for not being disgusting and greedy like the others, it's probably how you have stayed so well liked all these many, many years and also...

Before the movie began we were in the lobby waiting our turn to play the 'claw' game. An older man who works at this theatre approaches me very aggressively with his arms flailing and yells at me that the children currently playing the game we were waiting for were too loud and being disruptive. Not only were those not my kids, those kids were actually taking turns amongst themselves and being well-behaved (a little loud but they are kids!). I explain that just because I am a mother, does not make me responsible for other people's children nor is there a problem to begin with. This man made a scene that was uncalled for and his aggressive manner is the reason my family will not go back to this theater. He clearly lacks experience with the public and likely has unattended mental...
