I contacted wu Wei wellness at nearly 41 weeks pregnant after seeing that they offered services for women who are pregnant to aid in labor. My obgyn was certain I would need to be induced . I called wu Wei wellness in an attempt to avoid induction - I am a first time mom. The doctors had said I wasn’t dilating. I went Wednesday afternoon, that next morning went to the obgyn to everyone’s surprise I was dilated to one cm. I went back to see Tom we did another round , I asked to see him again the following day- he encouraged me to wait it out and call if I needed anything the next day as he would accommodate me. That night only 6 hours later I began to have contractions. As a first time mommy the obgyn had told me I’d be in labor for hours or days. I showed up to the hospital 7 hrs into labor and 5cm dilated I received an epidural within mins of arriving.
