After a long time looking for a good tattoo shop on Long Island and being continuously disappointed by poor quality of work and lack of hygiene practices across the board I HAVE FINALLY FOUND A SHOP WORTH GOING TO! As an avid tattoo collector and apprenticing artist there are very few if any tattoo artists on Long Island BESIDES luiz and the wonderful staff at selden ink that I would trust to put work on my body. Every experience I have had with them has been 10/10 the staff is very friendly and willing to help with any and all tattoo needs. The shop is clean and comfortable, I always feel like a part of the family when I’m with them. So far from the work I have received from luiz I have been featured in several magazines as well as winning dozens of trophies from competitions/conventions. He goes above and beyond to create not only a tattoo masterpiece but also a friendship with his clients that lasts as long as the tattoo itself. I have been a customer at Selden Ink a few times, as friends of mine know the artist personally so I wanted to support the new business. From the minute I walked in the door Luiz and the rest of the staff treated me like a friend and like they have known me for years. Besides that, I have personally seen tattoos in progress, and finished. These guys are no joke, they take their work seriously and are amazing artists. This shop is the real deal.

Selden Ink is the best tattoo parlor in Long Island. I have never been to a tattoo parlor where I have seen so many trophies like their shop. It’s clean and very eyes pleasing for a tattoo shop. Luiz and his wife Silmara produced awesome tattoos. Especially Luiz, the realisticness in his art work are incredible!
