Great concept. However, i think this location is too small for the customer flow. I went on a Saturday at 530 pm, we arrived 10 min before our reservation time, and the place was packed. They were running a little behind and we also had an error with our reservation, we booked for archery. However, they overbooked their archery equipment and could not accommodate us. It seemed as if this place is ran by a bunch teens, they wasted our time by training us for archey to just switch us mid way to axe throwing, after the walk through we were placed at a target and then we were moved to another target 20 min into our game!! Just so they could accommodate a ' large team' that came in (way after us) and wanted their targets next eachothers. At first, we were told that we would have a credit for ax throwing session (only vaid monday-thursday) for the inconvenience and within just 5 min into that the worker switch it from afre3 session to a free drink then to just 10 extra minutes for the inconvenience.... none of these promises were actually held up...
Read moreThe axe throwing itself was fun. But $40 per person per hour is a bit much. For my family of 5 at noon on Saturday was over $200 after taxes - with out food or drinks. Since we were already there we stayed. We sat through the training, which wasn't awful but for the 11 year Olds with us don't know how much was absorbed. Then there was a girl assigned to our lane. Unfortunately, this is where thr experience fell apart for us. The "helper" and her "tips" ended up being overbearing and taking away from the hour we paid for. My husband who hit the bullseye everytime missed one round bc the board was to dry and she was all over him giving him tips. Then my oldest son who also did extremely well, she was saying things like wow killer u don't need to throw to hard. He's 15, the comments weren't necessary. This is a one and done for us, we won't be going back. Now I understand why other friends of ours said the same thing after you go once you won't go back. It was a birthday outing for my son, he really wanted to go. I'm so sad he was disappointed bc...
Read moreI took my daughter and 8 girls friends Ax throwing for her 15th bday. I’ve been here before, they had not but always wanted to so I surprised them and I’m glad I did, we had the best 1-1/2 hours ever. Madelyn was their guide girl/appointed helper and she was great. She showed them step by step what to do and she was very patient with them. We had a few laughs at the kids expense and I got some funny videos. The place itself is large inside and can host plenty of people without feeling claustrophobic. It’s Wheelchair accessible, kid friendly, very clean and the staff was patient and helpful and the prices were fair for what we did. They serve food and have a small bar with a lounge area with barrel tables and a neon message board for photo ops. When you first enter there is also a huge theme wall along with props to take photos with. As for the game itself there are multiple games and levels to choose from and if ax throwing isn’t your thing they have archery also. We all can’t wait to go back. Thank you Madelyn for showing us...
