Bagels Your Way Cafe — Restaurant in Town of Brookhaven

Well usually very good. Not sure what happened in the past couple months but I’m officially in search for a new deli. Let me start at the beginning. First I called to place my order, and got told they can’t take it because they’re busy!! Which is dumb but ok I understand that one a little bit, even tho every deli is busy and that literally is the reason for calling in like every other deli on Long Island does. Secondly I hopped right out of bed and drove down there as it is literally right around the corner from me. I walk in and literally nobody is in there just me and the workers all having a pow wow in the back. Again I understand people talk that’s fine whatever. But then,….. I go to order a bacon egg and cheese with salt pepper and ketchup as I have done for years all across the island from Several delis and I get cut off and screamed at by the way I ordered it and the lady said she wants to strangle me for ordering that way. Wow just wow. But I shrugged it off people have bed days. I said if you let me finish I’d tell you everything about my order u need to know. I got a the b.e.c. Spk and said I order it that way because they always mess it up she said it’s my fault cuz I’m ordering wrong apparently please lmk if that’s a thing?! And I also asked for a PLAIN EGG BAGEL. I said very important because they always mess that up too. Not an everything egg just a regular egg toasted with butter. She rudely shook it at me said I know and asked if I want butter on both sides. Then I asked them about the phone order thing and they just said yeah we only take them when not busy. I just politely said then don’t even answer the phone it’s kinda rude to talk to people like that. And I left. I get home and guess what. Poppy egg bagel which my wife can’t eat because she has chrons. Thank you 🙏 for a useless bagel and the worst customer service I’ve ever...

HORRIBLE This place is not well managed at all. they touch raw eggs then touch everything in there store it’s actually horrific. If you inconvenience them slightly they become the rudest people, the older lady is the worst one of them all. I have tried multiple times at this place and they have failed every single time. I’m not one to normally do this but how dare they be providing my community with service that is making people sick. I watched my food be made this time because The last time I was horribly sick and had to pay for it. NEVER GO HERE PLEASE. I tortured myself for you I hope they see this and understand that change is necessary. Hope this helped.

The first time I went here was on foot, they apparently own a store a couple shopping centers down as well don’t go there either. I called and ordered food while walking to the store, when I got there found out it was at the other store. They would not serve me and were making me WALK to the other store. I had to pay for the food at the other store and the food I wanted there, they made me look like the idiot and hassled me about them Making me food AFTER I SAID ID PAY FOR THE FOOD AT THE OTHER STORE TOO. Unbelievable.

Now today they gave someone else in my immediate family the worst customer service experience in there life. Like this if you read this far so it get shown to others thanks.

This place is the last I would recommend. I worked there and quit myself after their sad attempt of a worker trying to fire me, of equal level 😂. I waited maybe a month or two, went back; Mind you I was with my girlfriend, very ordane, very happy, just coming in looking for a roll with butter and no issues to talk of or start. We were greeted by many dirty laughing faces, the workers behind the counter including the baker all made comments under there breathe continued to talk poorly about each other, the staff, the customers and of course. Me. I only heard them rumor of others. All in 5 minutes while I was there they ensued their childish ways and remarks, so I handed a personal tip to one of their polite workers if $2 as a thank you (an experienced, long haired woman). Other than that the food is good half the time and the orders are only half done right for many sad customers because they continuously have new, and unerpaid, incompitent, unwilling staff. Sad to say I had to leave and will never come back as a customer again. I stronger DO NOT RECOMMEND ANY BAGELS YOUR WAY CAFE. Thanks...
