GameDay Sports Bar — Restaurant in Town of Buchanan

Horrible, horrible, absolutely horrible management! We have never been so disrespected from a bar. A group of us were meeting at Game Day for a Birthday party and most of us have kids so we planned to meet at game day and let all the kids play outside (on their playground for kids) when we arrived the patio was closed. They gave no reason or no heads up on any social media or their website. So we decided to eat inside. The kids were playing the claw machines and the games. We had one very nice young waitress for our whole table and she was very nice and patient with us. Some of us went up to the bar so she wasn't so overwhelmed and then most got told that we can only order from our waitress (in a rude way) the kids were getting very bored so l asked if they could run around or play bag toss in the volleyball area, which they said no, you need to pay for that. They then had the MANAGAER tell us our kids were not being parented and running wild all over the place. The inside is very small and they decided to have a very good band play inside on a nice day. And then we were told they had to turn away customers because of our group! (We all were also paying customers) we tried messaging and calling to talk to someone and were hung up on! A huge group of us will NEVER go back here and we will be spreading the word on how horrible we were treated. If the patio was open, we wouldn't have been inside at all. They took no accountability for any of this being their fault and were so rude to us with children. Don't advertise your a kid friendly bar and then yell at us for having children. If you don't want a lot of customers then don't have a band at your bar. Absolutely gross to me that this manager treats customers this way. We were told with a group this large we should have called, but if your patio was open (like we planned) we wouldn’t have had to call. l've never had a worse experience...

We tried Gameday Sports Bar for the first time today using grub hub. We won't be using grub hub for some time, but thanks to Connor (the manager, sorry if I misspelled your name) we WILL be ordering from Gameday again! We ordered the southwest egg rolls (kind of like the ones from anduzzis but without the hair) and two orders of the street tacos, one with barbacoa and the other with beer battered cod. The grub hub driver, kevin, dropped off the order and we realized the order of tacos with the cod was missing. My husband called Gameday and I called our driver. The driver did not care and put the blame on Gameday. My husband spoke to Connor and Connor apologized, made no excuses and said they'd get it remade and have a driver come out. He called grub hub and had the missing entree refunded. He called us to let us know and said grub hub wasn't sending another driver and that he would PERSONALLY drive it to us! And he did!! We tried to tip him but he refused. He told my husband there was a second bag. The idiot driver only picked up one bag. It was all the driver's fault but Connor never made excuses and took full responsibility and accountability. I'm still amazed by this incredible service. He really went above and beyond. We need more Connors and less kevins. Plus, the food was DELICIOUS! I can't recommend this place enough! Thanks...

If you are looking for a great outdoors space to have a drink with friends go here! So much to do un their huge outdoor area (bag toss, volleyball, tables with foresplaxes built in, stage for live audio, etc). The inside is newly revamped. It's a nice space now as well. So why 3 stars when there is all this praise? It so hard to order a dang drink! I want to spend my money and I can't. If you play volleyball, don't expect to get service is the volleyball area. I left my debit card there recently. I called to verify that it was there. The guy was a complete a-hole and would only check the outside bar. I was there a week later for volleyball, and there it was at the inside bar. Maybe this is all due to the staffing issues that most are experiencing. But it seems there is enough staff, they just show limited drive. Great place but the staffing is concerning, so this could change at any point.

Oh, and the volleyball courts are decent. I think they finally added more sand. You could easily find yourself hitting solid prior...
