I've owned vehicles in all sorts of brands in my lifetime and I've never experienced a service department like this. The amount of attention given to you and your vehicle during your visit is unbelievable. Burdick BMW really has a way of making you feel special, and their system makes your appointment as seamless and convenient as possible. I feel like they take the time to learn about you as a valued customer and purposely tailor your visit to your personality. They understand that (contrary to popular opinion) not every BMW driver lives in a suit and tie. Regardless of my appearance when I arrive, I'm approached with a sincere smile and handshake. The atmosphere is great and almost clean on a surgical level. I have always left with a satisfied feeling and a car that somehow looks and drives like it did when it was brand new. When they do have my car in their possession, I don't have that pit in my stomach feeling that I'm going to be receiving a phone call suggesting that I replace a whole bunch of unnecessary parts or that my car may require unforeseen work. They're honest, fast and take the time to thoroughly explain everything in layman's terms. They fully assess your car so that there are no issues down the road. If something seems like it may need to be serviced soon, they give you a heads up so you can develop a plan and prepare yourself. The truth of the matter is that all vehicles have wearable components and do require periodic service. There's no way around it. If you own a BMW, you already know that they're just not like the rest for many reasons. Don't allow yourself to settle for questionable service anywhere else in attempt to save a couple pennies. That shady guy waving a sign on the corner offering $19.99 oil changes? Keep driving. You work hard and deserve more than that. There's always a catch anyway. Get it done right, the first time. Since I've owned by car, my service advisor has been Chris B. His level of professionalism is unmatched. We slap hands when I arrive. We laugh and he asks about my family. He's a no-nonsense kind of guy and really has a way of making you feel like he cares. If you don't need it, he's not going to waste your time telling you about it. If you do need it, he's going to do everything he can behind the scenes to research things like warranty coverage, pricing, part availability, time frame, etc. You can rest assured that he's done everything in his power to provide the best possible option before even picking up the phone to notify you. He won't waste your time with BS. It's almost like having a personal assistant when it comes to servicing your BMW, working with you, not against you. Really appreciate everything these guys do. Couldn't be...
Read moreShort version: They're liars. I trusted them twice and got fooled twice. This review is just for the sales department.
It's an ok place if you don't care about money. If you're in upstate NY, go to the two other dealerships in the area --- they may not give you the best price, but they keep their words seriously. BMW Burdick: they told you they’ve made a mistake, and YOU have to pay for THEIR mistakes.
If you want to save money and have good experience, go to NJ or PA: I regret so much that I didn't buy my car there.
Full story: I did my test drive there. The sales person was nice and the experience was good. One month later, I decided to buy the X3 and started quoting around, because there is no BMW dealer within 1hr driving from where I live. A NJ dealer (3.5hr away) gave me a good deal, and I was ready to go in the morning. Then BMW Burdick texted me and said they could match the price. Great! This would save me 2hr drive. After I arrived, I was told the trade-in value of my old car is $1000 less than the offer from my local dealer, who actually inspected the car and ready to pay me cash (NJ dealer offered $2000 more). OK, then no trade in. Then I was told they’ve made a mistake in the price --- I would have to pay $200 more than they promise. I felt I was fooled and I walked out immediately. At that time, there is no time for me to go to the NJ dealer, so I went to another BMW dealer in upstate NY, who gave me $1000 more in trade-in and $100 less in vehicle price.
After I got my X3, I started to have some questions, and BMW has an Encore event for answering questions from the new owners. Then I called BMW Burdick to make an appointment, and they told me I could get $100 accessory voucher for attending. Then I asked whether I could get it even if I didn’t buy my car there. She hesitated, asked someone and gave me a positive answer. Great! I went there. The event is informative. Then I got my envelope --- without a voucher inside. I asked, and the manager told me, “if anyone said that, it is a mistake”, AGAIN.
This is a story about $300 (and $1000 in trade-in). If you don’t care, BMW Burdick could be the place for you. To me it’s not just about $300: it’s about my time, and the unpleasant feelings of being fooled, AGAIN and AGAIN. I wouldn’t do any business with them, no matter what promises they’ve made: they could be just lies,...
Read moreBrought by BMW X5 into Burdick BMW Collision Center on August 27th 2018 after being rear ended on I690. Only bumper damage and part of the drop down lift gate. However there was sensors damaged and I wanted someone experience with BMW to fix the car correctly. Will BMW found additional damaged and contacted the insurance company for approval. So after checking on my car a number of times in September it still was not ready. I then decided to check my insurance claim file and reviewed the supplement claims by BMW. To my surprise there was charges for 3 emblems which DID NOT need to be replace and I cannot understand how that mistake was made since the bumper and lift gate has no emblems. 18 S01 Repl Nameplate X5 1 35.30 0.2 19 S01 Repl Emblem XDRIVE 50I 1 52.96 0.3 20 S01 Repl Emblem BMW 1 39.21 0.2
So I brought this to the attention of the dealer and also pointed out and a paint protection strip was missing from the bumper after the repairs was done to bumper and have pictures and BMW assembly drawings to prove.
Was told that my car would be ready on September 25th (1 month later) and my rental agreement expired on 9/25. And the manager would make sure everything is in order before I get my car. When I went to get my car and during my inspection I open the tailgate and lift gate to see a panel not installed correct and watched the customer rep installed the panel himself in front of me. There was sanding dust inside the trunk area which I also pointed out to the customer rep (who was very apologetic). Today I brought my car back for them to install the protective paint strip which was missing, along with to fix a rattle with the lift gate, and bumper cover not seating correctly on the bumper causing a wavy look.
Well they gave me a rental to address these issues. However the collision manager walked by me at least twice and would not even look at me as a customer or say a word to me. This is very poor customer service from a BMW collision center. Again only a damaged bumper and less than $5,000.00 of damages. However today October 10th since August 27th and I am still dealing...
