Always such great, perfect👌finds when I go to this specific T.J. Maxx location!! I do however wish the store was kept up a little better, or the same types of items were kept in the same places, or at least in the same vicinity though, for example sleepwear items, slippers, socks, back support prop pillows, I literally found these items in anywhere from 2 - 5 completely unrelated areas in the store.
I usually try to make my T.J. Maxx, Homegoods & Marshall's store visits all within the same day, not only because they're all less than 5 minutes from each other, but also because I happen to know they're all the same stores, carrying the same items at one time & if 1 of them doesn't have lets say a specific size or color in an item I find that I really want, I know that if I really want or need that specific item that's unavailable in that store badly enough, that there's a 99.9% chance if I went to 1 or both of the other 2 stores mentioned earlier, they'll definitely have it in the size, color, etc., that I need or want it in & also very likely they'll also have what appears to be an endless supply of that item in the size & or color i needed it in at the same time.
Despite items not being grouped in 1 sole location, it really doesn't bother me very often when I start seeing the same items scattered in multiple unrelated locations throughout the store, it kinda puts a little edge on my shopping trip, of course when they're not announcing on the intercom every single minute of the last 15 minutes before closing which would obviously make anyone antsy to have to rush to finish shopping or attempting to rush to find that 1 item that's nowhere to be found naturally because they're literally doing a countdown by the minute over your head as you try to locate a person to either help u or whe u attempt yo locate it on your own the last 30 seconds as they're about to lock the door to the store behind you as you're walking out the door of the store. When they're not rushing customers out of the store for the whole last 15 minutes of your shopping trip & you've got plenty of time to just browse & be left alone to take you time, the search for certain items in multiple unrelated locations can become a bit of fun too, i even think a little like a treasure hunt actually, because there are so many wonderful, perfect finds in the process of attempting to locate 1 of the other locations of the item u can't find in what u need it in. I don't care how old i am, treasure hunts at ANY AGE are still a lot of fun! 🤷🏻♀️ the treasure hunting is probably my favorite part of going to T.J. Maxx honestly!
I'm almost 100% positive, it's absolutely impossible to really keep up behind careless customers who just don't care what they're doing with items they decide not to purchase, no store could ever have enough employees on staff to even begin to try to keep up behind the sort of careless customers that just leave things where ever they feel like it, when they decide they don't want to purchase items in the end afterall. I would never hold that against the store or its employees EVER though, it's utterly impossible to keep up after people like that, I know this from my own personal employment experiences elsewhere with careless customers, it kinda just comes with the territory in every field of work if you think about it! Had there not been a complete disaster to still be picked up right before they closed tonight, I wouldn't have stumbled across the item in the attached picture tonight either, which brought me back to my childhood & remembering some really great times & laughs when this little guy came out every year before Chanukah. I could never find this item anywhere else nearby even if I tried to for yearssss, online probably yeah, but not locally not anymore, Chanukah Harry only comes out & sells out quickly for some reason every year too, very popular item. This was definite the best part of my visit to this T.J. Maxx location for sure!!
Treasure hunt completed successfully tonight as far as I'm...
Read moreI have never experienced such blatant disrespect, discrimination and racism as I have during my recent visit to this location over the weekend. Dawn, a cashier began to talking about me and my mother to her coworker the young man that was checking my mother and I out, RIGHT in front of us, assuming we did not speak or understand English because we are Hispanic. When I addressed her about her lack of professionalism and racist attitude she threatened to call the cops on me, again escalating the situation vs de escalating it. I did not take the bait and instead ask to speak to her manager, when her manager finally came over she couldn’t care less about what I had to say and instead dismissed my experience, instead of showing any empathy or care for how I was treated by one of her employees. She was not even listening to me instead she just wrote a number down and said to call that number for my complaint. I believe the managers name is Stephanie. Reading the reviews on this page regarding the lack professionalism and racism people have encountered over the years it is evident that corporate is aware of their employee’s actions however they simply do not care. This cavalier attitude from management and corporate is inviting a law suit being that this is clearly something that is happening to multiple customers throughout the years and the company has yet to even issue an apology encouraging this racist discriminatory behavior from...
Read moreToday I was at TJ Max in Nanuet, my son wanted a toilet toy but it was broken, I asked them nicely if they can give me a discount. They had me waiting a long time just to tell me they were only taking a dollar off. There was an employee name Patrick pretending to be the manager when he wasn’t bc I asked. I asked him again if he could lower the price a little more bc of the condition of the toy! He was rude! He told me take it or leave it. He walked away from me and rolled his eyes. I’ve a TJ max Credit card, I’m always shopping here and I’ve never felt so disrespected like I was today! He gave me an attitude and when I was leaving the store he was laughing. I was going to shop more but bc the way he treated me I feel like I’m not going back to this store anymore. Also when my sister tried to purchase her stuff at the register I was, Patrick made both cashiers walked away from her to do other stuff when she was already in there! My sister spent $120 in jewelry and she was about to spend like $100 more there but she felt bad bc nobody wanted to ring her so she left her...
