I recently visited this restaurant to pick up sushi, but after arriving and noticing the quiet ambiance and nearly empty dining area, I politely asked to switch my order to dine-in. The female waitress was very welcoming and accommodating. However, an older man at the front (the register), seemingly in charge, immediately accused me of trying to avoid tipping, which was not only offensive but completely untrue. I had cash on hand, ready to tip, and even offered to void the pickup payment to switch to a dine-in tab. To make matters worse, this same man falsely claimed I had been to their restaurant before and hadnāt tipped, which was simply not true as this was my first visit. I usually frequent other sushi spots nearby. His treatment escalated into him making a highly inappropriate and discriminatory comment, saying all Black people are the same in his establishment. That was the final straw for me. I refused to continue my order and asked for a refund, only to have him attempt to void my card payment. I insisted on cash, as I no longer trusted him with my money after such degrading behavior. Itās clear why the restaurant wasnāt busy, and it had nothing to do with the food but rather the disrespectful, prejudiced attitude of this individual. Iāve seen no reviews from people of color here, but I want to caution others, especially Black women like myself, to be mindful of where they choose to dine. No one should have to deal with this kind of treatment in 2024. Everyone doesn't deserve...

Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is our go-to place for a quick and quality sushi dinner. Like tonight, when we had not time to cook after having a broken oven replaced. We ordered 4 appetizers: spicy seaweed salad, vegetable gyoza, pork gyoza and vegetable tempura; our main dishes comprised of vegetable roll combo and pyogo roll for the 2 herbivores, cocktail roll and unagi roll for the 2 carnivores, plus Bento Box B (Bulgogi, shrimp & vegetable tempura, shumai, and California roll). Since this is a Korean run establishment, you are guaranteed proper spiciness for anything marked spicy, and authentic Bulgogi. It was a lot of food, but all was consumed with gusto. Everything tasted excellent and satisfying - hard to believe that one could get so stuffed on little nubs of sushi rolls :-). The restaurant itself is very small; it used to be take-out only. We ate there once right after they expanded to include a small dine-in space. Its menu is quite extensive with surprisingly good prices, so one can eat multiple times without getting bored or poking a hole in...
