Due to an untimely death in our family, we ended up with a bunch of old paper money and coins that we weren’t sure of what to do with. We had no idea of the real worth and if it would be better to sell them and apply the money to pay bills off or keep them in the family.
My Mom mentioned that Bullseye’s has been on Route 11 in N. Syracuse forever and we should stop in there and check it out. It turned out to be the best decision that we have made since our loved one has passed. Randy is the owner of Bullseye’s and you can find him working right behind the counter directly with his customers most days.
The first thing he said to us is that he would be more than happy to set an appointment to look at what we had and give an appraisal. The second thing he said is that we could then take our coins and bring them elsewhere to be appraised and we would see that he is straight forward and fair and that he would most likely see us back there. He gave us the appraisal for free, yes, that’s right, I said, free.
Randy is a great person, ethical business owner, professional, and trustworthy. He was so very helpful with our coins, but also with so much more than that. He understood the situation with parting with them and whether it was worth it or not - he wasn’t ALL about $$’s. He also helped us by giving us names and numbers of other local businesses that deal with antiques.
We highly recommend that you go to Bullseye’s and see Randy or his staff for any help. You will be glad...
Read moreBullseye Coin is a great place. Randy, the owner, gives you great service and is so knowledgeable about coins and darts. I have always felt comfortable shopping there and I know that I always get a really good deal. I have recommended him to friends and family and have always have gotten only fantastic feedback. To add to my earlier review, I just found out that Bullseye is now carrying baseball cards. These are older ones and great players to boot. If you are into this, it might be worth your time to check it out and see what treasures he might have for you. I see on another review that someone said they didn't get a receipt when she sold some coins. If she wanted a receipt why didn't she ask for one?. She also said that she didn't get a good deal with the shop on the sale of her coins. I have seen Randy, the owner, over the years, tell people to take the coins to another shop and get a second opinion. He has been in business over 20 years and said that his reputation is worth more than making a few dollars on a sale.I don't have a leg in the race. I just hate to see someone who has always treated me and many others fairly over the years get beat up by a person who I think may have had something else going on or having a bad day. As she didn't have to take the deal or could have come back if she had had a second thought that day. In any event, I just wanted to say that I will happily continue to shop at Bullseye's. I hope you will...
Read moreI would recommend doing any business at bullseyes & darts in Syracuse NY anytime! I had a wonderful experience BOTH times I did business with the owner. I had some old silver coins that I wanted to trade in for cash but had never done it before nor had any knowledge of how the process would go. I called around to multiple places but when I called bullseyes & darts and spoke directly to the owner he was extremely polite and explained the entire process in detail and in words I could understand. He helped me figure out the best timing to come in so that I wouldn’t have to wait and he would be available to help me. In person he was extremely friendly and polite with great conversation and even spent the time to teach me how to understand the coins values and how to tell if they were truly silver. The prices were very reasonable and I am very very happy with the entire experience! I went back for a second time to do business with him and he remembered my name as well as our conversations and it was overall an amazing and delightful experience! I would recommend going to bullseyes &...
