I read just about every review before deciding to take my Jeep in. I’ll try and be as fair and factual as I can in this review.

I stopped in to ask about roof racks and a replacement bumper for my Jeep Wrangler. The salesman (Jon) was very helpful and showed me some options on both. I decided on a Smitybuilt bumper and added additional lights to be added on the top of it. We booked the appointment and I laid down a few hundred as a deposit. Went home to check out some other parts online and ran into the same exact bumper for about $250 less than what they charged (with free shipping too).No big deal I thought, I understand they need to keep the lights on, I’d call and see if they could match the price or at the very least come down some. Called the salesman and he said he’d check with his manager and call me back. 2hrs and no call...

So I went in and was just going to cancel the entire $1100 sale at the front counter. Salesman approached me as I stood in line and said he’d check now. I told him I could order the same bumper and have them install if they weren’t willing to work with me at all. He went and spoke to his manger who wanted me to order the bumper myself. To save $250, sure, so I ordered it right there and brought it in on my scheduled appointment.

Dropped the Jeep off at about 9:15am and they had it done at about 1pm, way before schedule. Went in at 4:30 and picked it up. The bumper install was perfect and everything looked great. I asked for some zip ties to attach the front plate which they didn’t do but were happy to supply. I completely understand why they left it as the plate covers the winch opening.

Before I left I checked all the lights, my two factory fogs which had to be relocated worked as they should. I then checked the two additional fogs I purchased from them and had them install. One of them did not work...

I went back to the service counter and let them know. The gentleman at the counter grabbed the tech who informed me they were supposed to call me (they never did), and they would have a new light the following week, I’d need to come back for that to be installed. So, tomorrow is the day I’m supposed to come back. No call today to confirm so I guess I’ll call and confirm the part showed up before driving over...

I have two other vehicles plus this one that I wanted to get some accessories for including a custom built speaker set up for a classic. While the install of the bumper was good everything surrounding it wasn’t. I’m still waiting to experience this “great customer service” other reviewers have talked about. Maybe tomorrow if they even have the part...

I’ve tried to lay this out as factual as I could so others could make an informed decision. In the future I’ll purchase parts elsewhere if I have them install because their markup is just too high, and in my case they wouldn’t work with me on price. The tech did a great job on the bumper/additional lights and can’t be faulted for defective equipment. The service department dropped the ball on communication and the manager dropped the ball on any sort of customer service. The stars are for the tech who did a good job.

I'll start by saying I do not require a response from this establishment. I state the facts here, people can decide for themselves. I purchased a camera system here on March 4th and payed in full prior to installation. Moved over from the cashier to schedule appointment for installation and earliest they could give me was the 29th. Wow. I show up Monday the 29th at 9am and leave the truck, thinking I'm at the head of the line as it didn't appear to me there was too much going on. I walk over to Delta Sonic for a cup of coffee and set up shop to get some work done. It gets to be 2:00 and I think they must be done by now and they neglected to call so I walk back over. My truck hadn't moved from the parking spot I put it in 5 hours prior. I approach service and was told for the first time a drop off means it would be ready by 5 to pick up. News to me. So I reluctantly wait in their small waiting room, it's 2:30. A few minutes later a customer comes into the waiting room and is enthusiastically greeted by the GM. I'm not sure what he had done but he was out of there inside 45 minutes and thanked the GM for "fitting me in". Great. Thanks indeed. I now see it's 4pm and my truck is pulled in for the install. 5:10 some guy comes out and tells me to download the app for the camera but he knows nothing about the operating instructions (I know know I'm also screwed on getting any reasonable training or instruction whatsoever). Ok. Someone else will come and provide that at their appropriate time. 5:25 truck is done, installation seems fine, I guess. The place closes at 6 and everyone working there is in closing mode. Dude comes out and gives lipservice bs overview. All I want to do is leave. I wasted a whole day and use my truck for work. All anyone needed to do is tell me they needed the vehicle there the whole day to do an hours work. I'd have made other arrangements. Instead I got screwed. I hate writing this because I know Scott and Linda and they are great people. I've done business with them since they were a couple doors down from RJ O'Toole's in the Airport Plaza. I've purchased countless remote starters as gifts for family as well as for my own vehicles over the years. I also mentioned to the service guy at 9am that the LED lights I purchased from them a few months prior were flickering arbitrarily. I did this at the advice of the sales guy when I purchased the camera system. Of course they never flickered at the shop. I assume because it was so close to closing time who cares? That was totally expected. Take a truck there at 9am they pull it in for installation at 4pm, you get what you get. I got screwed. Only once for me. I can't get away it, (nor would I expect to) in my line of work and I don't accept it as a rule. All if this could have been avoided if I was told they were keeping the truck for the day. Wanted the perfect Father’s Day gift. Thank you Sean and the IU team. You delivered! My grill came perfect from Installations Unlimited. Live and learn. Tell everybody my story so they don’t waste time or money looking elsewhere. My story: My weber grill after 9 years needed to be replaced. My wife said get a new one and it will be an early Father’s Day present. There was Memorial Day sale and thought a Weber griddle would be ideal. Sorry folks but you get what you pay for and if you go to a big box store like Home Depot you will regret it. What was a present became a nightmare with Home Depot. First griddle (Weber) delivered was marked up and had been put together with stripped bolt that held on the tray. When reported Home Depot asked me to pay for another and would pick up the old one. Two day later the HD driver calls with the replacement to be delivered and says this one has a 6” gash in the hood that Home Depot tried to cover up with a sticker. This was after I personally spoke to a Home Depot manager and told him to make sure the replacement not damaged like the last one. He said no problem. Frustrated I called and canceled the order at this point. The Blessing in disguise: Well I had time to research. Do your homework. First Weber is not the best outdoor griddle. Second the maintenance will keep you seasoning and cleaning a griddle wasting time and effort. This definitely was not the outside grill I really wanted. To add insult to injury the accessories I ordered from Home Depot with the Weber Griddle couldn’t be returned until the Weber was returned. This process took a week and a half from my first delivery day and two trips waiting in line at the service desk as well as several calls. Another reason not to do business with a big box company! The Solution: After serious research I decided on a traditional gas grill. What brand? Weber again? Then I saw Napoleon and a light bulb went off. I saw one at Installations Unlimited back in 2020. Luckily I found a comparison review for the exact two models. Napoleon had a landslide win for the same price. Installations Unlimited is a Gold Dealer. I know they are meticulous about everything they do. I had complete confidence as I saw many results from custom home installations for friends. I reached out and immediately was replied to and showed the exact grill I wanted was in stock. Sean made it super easy for me to purchase by sending an invoice so I could purchase right from my phone receiving a quote , invoice and then the receipt. They even set up the delivery for the next morning and I was expecting the following week. Friday morning IU came and delivered my Napoleon grill. . The Results: This grill is beyond my expectations and IU delivered it ON TIME as promised and in new condition. It was done so fast and with courtesy. Thanks...
