Utica Pizza Company — Restaurant in Town of Clay

*Update: We had some recent and past issues that were addressed promptly this morning. Thank you to the manager, Phill (N.Syr. location) for making things as good as they could be on all prior and present, and I do look forward to ordering once again.

I still say that Utica Pizza has the best wings in the area, they are a must try.

The only thing that kept us ordering was the wings (and we have been ordering through this company for quite a while). They are consistently late, up to 2 and a half hours without a call time before tonight, had a hair in the food once, (was argued with by an employee saying only the managers were allowed to make pizza and that she has blue hair..the hair was long and black) was offered a gift certificate that was never given, cheese has been all over the box like the pizza fell or was left tipped the last time (after being late, mentioned above). This time (tonight, ordered @7:01pm and given the 45 to an hour) they closed without delivering, notifying or reimbursing the funds they took at the time of the order. Terrible! Only seems to be the delivery people who are ever apologetic for anything the...

Really good home-cooking you would eat at your Italian family or friend's home. No nonsense, unpretentious, there is something for everyone, from the take out window for a slice of pizza to a full course ala carte sit down dining with a bottle of wine, or let them cater your family dinner or office lunch. Service is friendly and quick. The menu is extensive. There is their pizza and calzones, sandwiches and paninis, they offer 5 varieties of fish dinners on Fridays: fry, beer battered, baked, marinara, oregano, and sometimes a 6th, fish parmesan! Then there's the typical chicken and eggplant parmesan, lasagna, their famous chicken riggies and vodka riggies, and chicken Francaise. Then they have their various offerings of pastas: capelini, ziti, hats...I got the hats with 1 big meatball, delicious! Cavatelli, ravioli, etc., but my goodness! Gotta get the Utica Greens and pasta fagiole! And if there's room after you have packed at least half your dinner to take home, there's their Italian desserts: cannoli, sfogliatella, etc. Oh, did we tell you? we opened our dinner with their Italian Wedding...

My wife and I usually go here for dinner. My wife always gets the Vodka pasta and I will have either the special or my go to, chicken riggies. This trip we were in the area and decided to stop in for lunch. We got the combo special of a small pizza and 10 wings for $24. We also put in an order for the fried ravioli. If you've never had them, go ahead and treat yourself, you deserve it. As it turns out, this was the perfect lunchtime meal. We each ate the ravioli and pizza and I had a few wings. What I love! Other places go cheap on the blue cheese (old school, my choice) or ranch (not for me) dressing to go with the wings. They usually serve it up in one of those cheap 1 oz tubs forcing me to request more And then up charging me. NOT Utica Pizza, see the bowl (that's right: bowl) of blue cheese they gave me in the pics. If you haven't been here, try it! We took home pizza, wings and dressing. See the receipt in the photos for an idea of pricing. Reasonable pricing and good service. As a side note, when my daughters are in town this is the one place they...
