Absolutely the best experience I’ve ever had at any jeweler. I belevive I’ve just started a life long commitment to a jeweler. I went in to have a few questions answered and got a lot more. I have had some pleasant and some not so pleasant experiences with other local jewelers. But these people were beyond amazing. Not only was I made to feel welcome and greated with pleasentrys they mostly made me feel heard understood and exhibited genuine care. They also made me at ease with some questions I had reguarding previous purchases and repairs I had from other jewelers. They took interest and time to explain different aspects of my pices. One piece I have an emotion attachment to was cleaned, touched up and brought back to an original state after some previous work by another jeweler on the spot. Things went so well I made an appointment to have items properly appraised and documented and will be bringing in some other stones I have wanted to use to create a new piece and new emotional attachment too. It was pure joy and I feel amazed I was able to meet a genuine local business owner who was able to be so genuine with his craft and business. I’m amazed, blown away and look forward to making more memories with Welch & Co. It started today with a new piece I purchased as I was finishing my visit . My previous jeweler retired and a friend suggested I stop into Welch & Co- I'm so glad I did! Luz was patient with me going through about 10 pieces I needed sized and some other misc work done on. I'd been putting this off for a while as some of the pieces are sentimental and other jewelers refused to do the work due to the type of setting etc, which was devastating and rendered these very special pieces useless to me. Luz consulted with the jeweler several times to see what could be done and made me a list with prices for each piece. After speaking with my husband we decided to leave 2 rings to be sized and repaired, to start; I was told they'd take about 2 weeks but to my surprise they were ready in just a week! They did a beautiful job! Their pricing is fair, Luz was very knowledgeable and it was apparent in that first visit that their jeweler is experienced which gave me peace of mind. I truly believe that reviews do matter! I received a necklace for Christmas that needed to be shortened. A friend of mine recommended that I check out Welch & Co. Jewelers. I looked them up, read a few reviews and decided they would be my first stop. I was immediately impressed with how personable, professional and knowledgeable Luz and her staff were. I also really liked the ambience. I felt welcomed and "at home" as soon as I walked through the door. Needless to say, a $30 "necklace adjustment" turned into so much more!
