I went in to the Cobleskill, NY store to switch from a different carrier. Vinny was the one that helped me out. He helped me pick the most affordable plan and best trade in offer for my budget. He was super nice, and I had some good banter with him while waiting for my old phone to port things over to my new phone. He got me a beautiful case and even put liquid glass on my screen for me. I'm very happy with the new phone (Galaxy S22 Ultra). Once I've had Verizon for longer (I don't want to get ahead of myself after having them for like....6 hours) I will come back and add that part of the review. But so far, excellent customer service from Vinny. He's awesome. The rest of the staff was very nice while I was in there as well. The rest of my immediate family has Verizon for cell service, and they've never had any issues. So I expect switching to them to go much better than my experience with my last carrier. My bed (literally just my bed, not even my whole bedroom) was also the only dead zone in the entire house with my last carrier, that no longer seems to be an issue now that I have Verizon. Which is awesome.

She made sure to give us the best deal on our upgrade and checked to make sure we were in the right plan. Not only that but she helped my daughter with her phone without us asking. She is extremely knowledgeable on both the products and the services. If she makes a suggestion it never feels like you're being "sold.". I went back today to drop off the old phone and she went through my entire account looking to make sure I was in the right plan with the right discounts. After experiencing issues trying to call 611 for THREE DAYS SOLID (Prepay customer service = non existent), and a hold time of 3.5 hours each time, and giving up, I asked for help from the team instore. I knew from family that this team was super friendly and really good at their job and they didn't disappoint. I'm from the UK and used to shoddy outsourced customer service and almost ditched Verizon in favor of an NVMo cheap mobile provider like MobileX but so glad I persivered. My new line is now connected and I'm a happy customer. So thank you super team instore and no thanks to outsourced customer service! Bring back LOCAL JOBS AND KNOWLEDGE.
