I got what I needed today but man the employees her are something else!
Fitting room- older lady blonde and white hair said hi and good morning to customers her age and older she saw me I am 35 years old said in a rude tone "what you don't want put here on this rack you see it?" I said "okay" she said "do not leave items in the room" I said "okay no problem" she said great thanksssss" and walked away. I did put the items on the rack but she wasn't there.
Store appearance- for the prices being charged it should look a lot nicer jeans on the floor nothing folded I mean a pair of jeans for $60 tossed on the floor like it's trash, honestly what a shame. Also out of curiosity why are plus size clothing like $20 more than non plus size clothes? Body shaming prices?
While walking around everyone on the floor kept saying code words so I had a feeling someone was following me around, probably because how I dress black leggings and a black workout hoodie but okay.
Check out- if you pay cash be ready to stand there for a hot minute because returns are done there as well. I had time to edit my photos, so I was in like for 20 minutes. The cashier Asian women no hi or anything just assumed I was doing a return I said no I'd like to purchase, she said "okay put your Rewards number in" I told her I wasn't a rewards member " she said "are you sure about that" I said "yes I am sure" she told me my total which was $19.97 I gave her $20.07 she said the change is 97 cents. I said "I am aware I rather get rid of some pennies if I give you $20.07 you will just owe me 10 cents" she rolled her eye and said "whatever " she gave me my 10 cents and shoved my receipt in the bag and said "i can help who's next in line"
I only shop here literally once every 6 months to a year here but seriously what a bunch of trash rude employees here. If staff hate the public and their jobs then just leave. Every time I go here I get followed by how I dress, instead of just being nice and ask if I need help finding anything would bet the polite thing to do, you want customers to feel welcome, race age, body type, clothing type ect shouldn't be treated like garbage. Do...
Read moreThey have great sales but I prefer to shop online.
The stores are always extremely messing without any store personnel available to continue organizing behind messy customers or to offer assistance in finding items. The layout of the store is more confusing than helpful at getting more sales.
Fitting rooms are still closed because of the virus. If you are able to find something you do like in the mess, you have to buy it, take it home, try it on, then waste more gas going back to the store for the returns. If you get it online, you try it on when it arrives, then drive to the store to return what doesn't fit.
They do have an 80% off going on right now with an extra 20% off the marketed down price so you can get some real bargains!
The problem is finding the right size. The racks are a ness of mismatched styles and sizes. I found full figure and many regular sizes in the petite area along with a jumble of sizes in the misses women's area.
I think if they had a more experienced retail store manager with the ability to hire and train department managers, along with adequate staff support, hired and trained by the department managers, the store would be in much better shape!
The floor associates would then be able to keep the merchandise organized on the floor for a much more enjoyable shopping experience by the customers.
If I wanted to root and dig through an unorganized mess of merchandise I would go to a garage sale.
When I go shopping in a department store I expect the store to be neat, clean, and organize, along with floor associates available if...
Read moreGo to the Clifton Park one! Literally every department that I came across was a mess! The jackets were all over the floor, off the hangers and thrown over the top and nothing was in order, and there was zero selection as far as variety goes. Women's footwear was the same way the display sneakers/boots/shoes we're mostly missing and when I tried to check the boxes, looking for something specific, even the box is only had like one sneaker and you couldn't find the stragglers.. there were many departments that was just a pure disaster, the floors were not cleaned, the merchandise was all over the place and not in order so you couldn't tell what was what as far as pricing goes, and the line went all the way back so far that it took about 40 minutes for me to return a few things before I went shopping, and then when I was finished with my shopping, it took another 15 minutes but I got lucky because I have less than 15 items so I got called to the front ahead of certain people that were not paying with a card and did not have a few items. The whole time I was in the women's jacket area, I have so much issues and not once did anyone even ask if I needed help so I felt no need to even bother. I still can't believe what a Mazda entire store is, and how empty a lot of the shells are and in complete disarray. this is my first and last time going to the Albany Kohl's. I will stick with the Clifton Park location, at least the employees know how to keep up on their departments and actually...
