I honestly wish I could leave two separate reviews. I interacted with one employee who was amazing and one who was not. Keshauna helped me with some skincare suggestions and was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. She was leaving for the day so I stayed to shop around. Iâm not very knowledgeable about makeup and was feeling overwhelmed so when a young man asked if I needed anything I said yes. At first he seemed friendly but then seemed to grow bored, he excused himself and said he had a phone call after saying I should look at a specific brand of foundation and heâd be right back. So I went and browsed thinking maybe heâd be back to help, not a big deal. He never returned, I waited at least ten minutes but was tired so went to cash out. He was standing at the register and I Started to go toward him he looked at me like I had two heads and said, â I The line is back there?!?!â I apologized as I had not seen another customer at the end of a long aisle with items blocking my view. Embarrassed, I cashed out and this young man kept looking at me like I smelled bad. He never apologized for leaving me hanging (I probably would have bought the foundation he had suggested but I needed help with my shade). He just cashed me out, asked me loudly if I was leaving a tip for Keshauna and gave me a sandwich bag for my purchase. He had mentioned giving me a sample of a cream but then said âoh you should just buy it, I mean, youâre gonna need to anyway â I decided to buy it but still asked for the sample, that way if it doesnât work, I can return an unopened product. Better for them no? He sighed and said â hold onâ. So my experience ended on a sour note after a good start. Probably wonât go back to this location. They were out of my shade in 3 items with no offer to order it or help with another option. Iâm sorry Iâm not a makeup guru, but then you could have tried harder to help me instead of making me feel stupid. Go see Keshauna sheâs amazing! But otherwise, it...
Read moreWent to Ulta today to find some powdered foundation.. asked a store employee at the front end if someone could help me.. someone came over and assisted me. However, I just bought this not so cheap white leather bracelet yesterday and she wanted to use my wrist as the testing area. Well, I moved my bracelet up and just like that she got the foundation all over it. I was so upset because, again it wasnât cheap and I just bought it the day before. She said Iâm sorry, but wasnât sincere at all about it. So, I asked another store employee for the manager. The manager came and said she was sorry that that happened, and gave me some makeup wipes to try to remove the foundation. It somewhat worked, but now my bracelet has a brown mark and some of the chain fell off, so I had to superglue it back together. All in all, she gave me two â free giftsâ as an apology.. this was an insult because they were both ladies perfume and I am not a lady. I asked for a discount on my makeup I was buying and she informed me they donât do that. With that said, I have no need to go back to this location due to the lack of poor customer service, management and a very insincere apology. Just shows they really donât go out of there way to make the customer happy, and again I feel super insulted because they gave me ladies perfume! So if you want to be offended come right...
Read moreI don't know what happened to this store but good lord this was a bad visit. Shelves (especially in the makeup department by the registers) was in complete disarray. Every single brand's display had other brands mixed into every shelf, tons of not most of testers missing, open products thrown around, and it looks like the store has not gotten in any stock in weeks. How is every single Juvia's Place lipliner is gone? Same with Milani (except for 1 color.)
Even worse - employees here know nothing. A employee did ask me if I needed help (which I appreciate) but did not know what dry texture spray was for hair. Instead of admitting that, she kept suggesting products to me that were not dry texture spray, but hairspray, mousse, and not one item of what I am looking for. I tried to explain to her several times what dry texture spray was, but she didn't seem to understand. After about 10 minutes of her showing me inappropriate products (and finding some on my own throughout her path to try to find products for me) I just told the employee, thanks but I'll just look on my own.
Yikes. Ulta clearly needs to pay their employees more and staff their stores more accordingly. If you expect people to purchase $50-$60 beauty products in your stores, then display your store as if you're actually worth spending that much on...
