First, let me say this is by far the worst nail salon I've been to in the area.
The nail tech that was assigned to do my pedi and mani started by soaking my nails. After, she started my pedi and without even asking she started to cut my toe nails. Typically a nail tech should ask if you want your nails filed or cut shorter. She just went ahead and cut my nails very short. At that moment I was thinking she cannot do my mani. I got the owner's attention and said, “I don’t want to be rude but can someone else do my manicure.” I believe she said sure or nodded her head. The lady doing my pedi sets a timer for 5 minutes and proceeds to apply the scrub gel and lotion. Without making any effort to massage the products to my legs and feet. By now I am annoyed. She applied the nail polish terribly and I have nail polish smudge on my toes. I told the other tech that was going to do my mani about it and she assured me they’d fix it. She started asking me if I wanted to cut my nails shorter and I said yes. My nails were long so I wanted a small trim NOT short nails. I was regretting walking into this nail salon. The owner at some point comes over and is aware of the pedicure and I am told more nail polish would be added. I said I wanted it done all over. If I’m going to pay full price I expect good customer service. So, once my mani was done with the last gel coat dried she sent me off to fix my pedicure. She did not apply any cuticle oil, lotion, or warm my hands in a warm towel. I thought maybe she’ll do it after fixing my pedicure. Nope!
The owner removes the nail polish and repaints my toes and tells me I need to let it dry and walks away.
As I’m waiting I am noticing my manicure. The shape and length are completely off. I was regretting every moment I sat at that salon. I walk over to pay and the owner tells me my total is $90. I said the lady who first did my pedicure didn’t massage the products. She responded that a massage was not included. Even though it says in the list of prices a 5 minute massage on a regular pedicure. I’m upset at this point and say just charge my card. The owner tells me that if I didn’t like the person who did my pedicure she could set my next appointment with someone else. I signed my receipt and added a $5 tip. I would like to make it clear I am very generous when I tip ($20 when I get my nails done). The owner asked me if that was for my manicure. I said yes and showed her my nails. I said look, they're not even and the shape is not right. Keep in mind no oil, lotion, and warm towel was applied after my manicure. I left the salon completely upset by such terrible services. I would never come back to this salon or recommend anyone to try this place out. The nail salon looks new and clean but do not be fooled. Their services are TERRIBLE!
Now I am spending double the amount to get my nails fixed. STAY AWAY...
Read moreI’ve been going to the salon for a while now, but I think I had enough of this place. I have given multiple chances but I keep getting bad service, I’m tired of wasting my money to be unsatisfied. My last pedicure here was rushed, the woman did it in less than 10 minutes, it wasn’t busy that day so I’m not sure why she was rushing for, I asked to file square and she managed to file round. I didn’t feel relaxed since it was so fast. You’re expected to give tip, and I always do but it’s so disappointing to tip a person who could care less if you’re happy with their work. Another time, they charged me $18 just to change the color of my toe nails , I didn’t cut my nails, no file , nothing, just change the polish for $18! Lastly, I had a lady do my sns and she was super heavy handed , she kept using the electric filer on the fastest mode and it really hurt me and I told her I wasn’t comfortable she kept making faces and continued to do what she was doing, completely ignoring me. I kept giving her chances but then I finally said it, I told her; I’m sorry to be annoying but the electric filer is too fast it’s hurting my nails. She finally got up all rude complained to a coworker came back and changed the setting. Now, was that hard to do? I don’t understand what the problem was. Why would I lie that it was uncomfortable. I’m usually easy, and I have given them multiple chances but I just keep getting disappointed with this place. It seems like these workers forget that the customers work for their money too and they would like to get what they’re paying for. I don’t mind paying the amount as long as I get good service.. and most of the workers are just rude and don’t listen. I think the owner should consider replacing half of her staff at this point. They are rude and the service is bad , the nails are not...
Read moreI’m really happy with this nail salon. I started going when they first opened and were offering special deals and I have continued. Whether I’m getting a regular manicure, gel manicure, or pedicure, the quality of service has been consistently great. I don’t have a particular person I use as others often do because my schedule is usually crazy and I never know when I can stop in. But every person I have received a service from has taken their time to be neat and precise without rushing or getting sloppy. At other salons I’d get a great manicure one week then walk out with messy nails and red cuticles the next visit. I’ve also done the chair massages (usually from one of the men work there) and they’re pretty good too, actually working stiff muscles and not just poking around my back. The place is bright, open, spacious, and clean. There’s easy free parking in the front and the rear. I’ve never had a long wait when I just show up. Prices are on par with other local places. Staff is professional and friendly. Communication has never been a problem. They’re actually very generous too for a small business. They recently made a donation to a fundraiser I’m working on as well....
