Brian is the most uncompassionate pharmacist. Worse this pharmacist is the manager. For this reason, the pharmacy overall gets one star.
This is only my second month in this pharmacy. I have been using the app, as encouraged. This month, I requested two prescription refills with a week’s notice. A week later, one of the two medications was still in process. I called the pharmacy and reached the voicemail. Three days late in taking my medication, the app still notes the pharmacy is working on the refill, still no call back, I followed up in person.
Upon checking with staff, she noted they have my prescription. I waited to talk to the Pharmacy Manager, Brian. Having relayed the delay, my experience with the app, and no call back, Brian simply said, the next time the app notes they are working on the refill, I should just check in person or via phone — This defeats the purpose of the app and the fact that no one called me back. Brian also said that the medication has a shortage so he can’t do anything about it. And he walked away. Meanwhile, as soon as I provided my name and DOB, I was told they have the medication.
What’s most frustrating about this experience is Brian’s poor customer service (a manager’s role) and lack of empathy (supposedly central to a pharmacist’s patient-centered care). No apology for the inconvenience or the oversight. Nor gratefulness for the feedback about their app and the lack of phone responsiveness, which are opportunities to improve upon.
This interaction was witnessed by at least one other pharmacy...
Read moreI moved into a new house in Eastchester close to this CVS location with my husband and three boys last February. I was unfortunate enough to have met the pharmacists there - in particular Rob. I have never written a bad review before but this experience stays with me. I think of what I went through at this horrible pharmacy and it upsets me! I first met Rob when I went to pick up my prescriptions. They were out of two of the three. No problem I thought I can let Rob the head pharmacist know that I will be coming to this pharmacy in future and if he wouldn’t mind keeping them in stock so my schedule stays on track.
Fast forward 4 months and my prescriptions were never in stock- literally I had to call to find out and then someone would tell me yes only to drive in and it’s not there. Then back out to the car and cvs would call with that annoying automated service saying they were ready for pick up.
Anyway the part that got me was when my doctor wrote a script and Rob said he would have to put it on special order. A whole month went by of empty promises and lies from the staff saying it will be in tomorrow. Between going in or time wasted calling.
Well tomorrow never came and my script went out of date and my doctor was on vacation. Rob messed up 6 months of my meds. I don’t think he cares or has a conscience.
I am not mad at Rob or the staff. I am mad at myself for wasting precious time at that zoo they call...
Read moreSo, I got a coupon for $2.00 of any disposable razor. It was stated clear as day on the coupon. Up to $2.00 value. Expires on 09/26/2024 with the use of extra care card. I was denied the purchase of one disposable razor cost $2.00 because; As was told by the Manager that the coupon is not good for travel and trial products. Now I am not illiterate and the coupon never specified specific brands or products. I know what the word “ANY” means. But obviously to be a manager at CVS you can make up whatever rules you want to, to deceive customers. Now under normal circumstances I wouldn’t even bother to argue or complain, but I am just so sick and tired of the prejudice of certain people that think they are so much smarter than others. They just lost an $80. Sale because of a $2.00 coupon. I go to cvs at least twice a month to pick up my meds and always make purchases upwards of $100. But not anymore. I will take my money and business elsewhere. I do not have to put up with the arrogance and selfishness of people who look down on others and think that they are less than. If this is the type of people CVS chooses to employ, well Good luck to them. Never again! This was the CVS at 375 White Plains Road in...
