This is my favorite sushi restaurant to visit. All you can eat sushi buffet that is made fresh, what more can you ask for. You can order other items other than sushi. Don’t believe majority of the reviews posted on Google. I’ve been going to this for years and haven’t had any issue. You pay one price (based on the time of day and weekday/weekend). You can eat all that you want but people are not realistic/considerate when they place their orders. Your order form states you may be charged for wasting food. Order in moderation and you’ll be fine. All the staff members are great including the manager/owner (don’t know which one) except for one staff member who can be rude. The place does get busy during the evening especially on the weekends. Most restaurant has a timeframe on how long you sit at a time especially during peak time. If you have a party less than 5, you shouldn’t be there longer than an hour and 15 minutes. I haven’t had any issues with being attended at my table. All the staff members work collectively so you can ask any one for help or assistance. People nitpick over minor things you would experience at any restaurant. Overall, I love this place and definitely recommend to satisfy your sushi needs.

I had the Godzilla Roll- the eel avocado roll and chicken tempura roll with green tea ice cream. Sushi is my obsession so I was actually quite disappointed that the mark was missed. I’m not sure if they were having a bad day but the sushi was not fresh. The ginger was not fresh, it was visibly oxidized. The only thing that seemed fresh was maybe the ice cream and definitely the salad. I take freshness and flavor to heart when it comes to sushi so decide for yourself if you want to go here. I am however willing to give them another try. I know things are wild right now and I don’t want to assume it’s always like this but that wasn’t acceptable for me, a sushi connoisseur. The Godzilla roll wasn’t that bad and the size of the sushi was good, filling but again, freshness escaped everything. :(. Will try again though and update my review if they present something better but I also don’t think it should be freshness Russian roulette when it comes to sushi so we will see.

So I'm giving this place an average of 3.5 stars. I'm a big fan of AYCE sushi and have eaten at every AYCE sushi within a 7 mile radius from where I used to live in queens. I have recently moved to this area and will be doing the same here. Let's start with the kitchen items. The portion size for the fried calamari is good. At every ayce sushi place I've gone to always just gives you 4 to 5 pieces. I can't decide if it's a good or bad thing because it might be a ploy tactic to get you full faster rather than eating the sushi. But i have to admit the mango sauce for the calamari is super tasty. Other places with the mango sauce doesnt have much mango flavor and is more tangy than anything else. Next is the garden salad which is a bummer. Sauce was very tart and did not taste like the usual ginger dressing. there was only one very tiny piece of cucumber and it looked like someone took a bite out of the cucumber cause the seed part was missing and the rest was iceberg lettuce. I gave them a benefit of a doubt and ordered it again which had the same result. It leads me to believe that the cucumbers are cut very ahead of time and the seeds are intentionally removed due to it rotting faster. Next the Kani salad which was 85% cucumber and 8% crabmeat and rest kewpie mayo. The mayo also had this strange tang to it. Next miso soup which was standard but very lukewarm. Age tofu was standard, but the grilled squid needed to be grilled longer. There wasn't any grilled taste to it. Next is the sushi which was really sad to see them use the ploy tactic I haven't seen in years. They packed the rice SO much thereby making it VERY dense and heavy to fill you up faster. It was also VERY disappointing that tuna sashimi wasn't even an option which i have never seen in any place not offer it. Next they do the standard of not giving you everything you request. So if you ask for 10 pieces of something you get 6. Which every place ive gone to always does. Their godzilla roll is also VERY different from other place they use spicy tuna. Lastly, when calling to confirm the price in advance one price was quoted and we weren't charged the amount they stated even after mentioning what the price was for HOLIDAY. I gave them an average star because the service was decent and at least it was clean and they give you the gold standard of napkins instead of the cheap flimsy feelings ones. So overall, average and nothing that really great that stands out cept the fried calamari, the napkins , and the saving grace of...

This review is based on their unlimited sushi/sashimi Friday lunch. I believe we paid around $32/pp. If you are able to eat a lot, then go ahead and enjoy their unlimited menu. Obviously, if you are someone who prefers quality over quantity, then please look for another authentic Japanese restaurant that would offer higher quality seafood and more skills. I personally go back to enjoy the unlimited deal when I am craving lots of sushi and sashimi. Here's the breakdown of my pros and cons of this restaurant based on my experience (of course all these are subjective): Pros: Price and quantity (around $32 and unlimited) - Drink is not included. Pretty good selection of items from sushi, sashimi, rolls, hand rolls, teriyaki, tempura, soup, pork cutlet, salad, and more.) Quality of sashimi (especially salmon) was better than decent for an unlimited restaurant. Lay back atmosphere. The servers did what they needed to do at a right time (such as bringing out food, filling up our glasses with water, taking away done dishes, etc.). It wasn't too rushed or too slow. These were our favorites out of the ones we had: Sashimi - salmon Thinly sliced octopus (sauce we didn't care for) Soft shell crab rolls Seaweed salad (a bit too much sesame oil, but still good)

Cons: Philadelphia rolls - we love cream cheese, but this was way too much cream cheese. We ended up spitting out half of it from each bite. Besides the cream cheese they used was creamy but lacked flavor. Sushi - Rice wasn't too densely shaped so the texture was fine, but rice to sashimi on top ratio was a bit off. I ordered a sushi + sashimi and split rice from the sushi to make myself two sushi with the sashimi I ordered. It was perfect. Then again, rice fills you up and maybe that how they are able to fill you up faster. haha For the above two main reasons, I can't give five stars, but I will go back for some unlimited sushi...

UPDATE at the bottom: originally gave 4 stars. I am changing my review to 3 stars. Last visit, Feb '18, it seems the quality changed. Even my friend agreed with me. Worst part was the mango/avocado roll. The mango was hard and not ripe and I wouldve preferred they had said it was not available than yo have felt obligated to eat it. Other rolls were smaller than usual. Eel roll barely had eel in it. Also, patrons, please stop bathing in perfume before going out to eat. My sinuses went bonkers when this young couple was seated next to us and my senses were so overwhelmed by cheap perfume that I could barely taste the food. We switched tables with a light attitude from the waitress. That's not the restaurant's fault. Not blaming them. UPDATE: Went back in late 2018 alone. My food was given to another table out of only three occupied tables (5 patrons total). The chicken on skewers was so under cooked, I turned it away. I put down on two cards that I wanted ice cream, never came. I got tired of asking for everything. I didnt eat an unreasonable amount (miso soup, green salad, four pieces of shumai, four pieces of pork gyoza, two rolls which are tiny, chicken skewers, finished everything and ice cream). My waitress had a very bad attitude! All three waitstaff stood in front of the tables watching TV instead of noticing me sliding my empty wine glass for a half hour. My CC was charged for a meal when I just left it with them to go out to smoke but wanted to pay cash. The male staff member corrected it and was very kind about it but the waitress had a bad attitude about it. Shouldn't have wait staff that cannot understand well spoken customers. Quality of sushi has declined more. Great concept, poor service, quality has steadily...
