My mother has been a dental hygienist for 40 years, and has quite a high standard for dentistry. She's seen countless people come through her chair with braces, or braces just removed. She made it a practice to ask who their orthodontist was every time, in order to take a mental note of the orthodontist's work. With some orthodontisltst's work the patients' front teeth looked good, their bite was not always good, which would cause problems down the road. However, she consistently noted excellent bite and alignment with Mattiacio's orthodontic work.
She, also, went to many seminars by local orthodontists, which hygienists do for their license, and she was always particularly impressed by Brian Mattiacio's ethics and standard of excellence in putting the patient above convenience or money; talking about sometimes waiting until a young child is older to get braces on, because it's in the patient's best interest, and less money for the patient overall. And, there were a number of other things he said that impressed her quite a bit.
So, when our oldest needed braces, my mom highly encouraged us to meet with Mattiacio's and two other orthodontists. In comparison with the other two, Mattiacio's was a better priced and the whole staff was notably friendlier. Even though the distance is another 10 minutes drive further than the others, we happily decided to go with Mattiacio's and so glad we did.
Our 3 older kids have had braces with Mattiacio's. (And, our youngest just got them on.) They've done an excellent job with all of them; correcting cross bites, over bites and missing teeth. Every staff member is consistently helpful (many times, going out of their way to make appointment times that work for us.) Every single interaction we've had with the staff has been positive, and there have been many appointments between all our kids.
I highly recommend them to our family and friends (many, of which, have gone there, as well, and have had excellent experiences.)
These are my own thoughts and experiences. I wasn't asked to do a review, nor was I, nor my mother, compensated in any way for a review or recommending...
Read moreWeâve been Mattiacio fans since our first visit with my son in 2016. With most, if not all, Insurance companies not covering orthodontics, Mattiacio was very accommodating with their payment plan system. Never once did I pay a penny to Mattiacio, outside from what was predetermined according to the necessary treatment plan. If anything happened after hours, a Mattiacio employee was available to discuss the concern and determine how quick to get in to the office. My sonâs treatment plan was more lengthy than my daughters, currently, because he needed a bite plate for some time before adjusting his teeth. (and COVID affected his timeline) The entire involved Mattiacio crew walked us through their part of the journey at every appointment. I also want to note, the front end team is so inviting from the second you step foot in the office. In fact, the entire office is inviting and colorful and itâs nice to have snack and beverage options to leave with. Crew members always describe what they are doing as well as engage in other conversation if thatâs your thing (like me) And Dr. Mattiacio, heâs about as good as it gets. You can tell he has a really great relationship with each and every one of his crew, itâs very apparent. My kids enjoyed the point system, using earned points towards fun Mattiacio âswag.â There are list of ways to earn points, and they are easy to engage in. Points can be redeemed at any point (and several times) to which a prize has been earned. We are nearing the end of our second journey with Mattiacio, but I will forever recommend my peers to them. Bottom line, these professionals are just that ⌠Professional!!! Giving them our business was a no brainer and practically...
Read moreI feel like the people are fake and put on an act (let's play like we are happy and give a damn till the patient has a complaint then we will push you away. Its a big show if anything . What a joke! They care more about their reviews and cash grabbing. The environment is more weird than professional. My son didn't like the treatment there. I won't ever go back there. I rather be around real people that are more professional and not all about fake care and Google reviews. I see through all their BS. I will continue to edit review in response to their BS response. You screwed me over and most of all you screwed my son over. Not to mention they made my son cry by making a scene. Congratulations! Ring your corny gong now! Now go ahead and throw your response out and see if it will stick. Remember though when you do it make sure it's clearly fake like your whole atmosphere is there. Even my 9 year old could see right through it all without me mentioning anything. Maybe being real without having Google reviews all over your office and being dependent of those reviews may help. Maybe training is needed or maybe hire people who really give a damn instead of trying to hire some disconnected robots being forced to ACT nice. It's like fake Hollywood. Fake it till ya make it attitudes. I can't get over how weird the atmosphere is there. The overall atmosphere felt forced and lacked genuine authenticity. It felt more like a stage set designed to impress rather than a welcoming environment. The lack of genuine warmth or character made the experience feel a bit hollow. Update, to this day they are still charging my insurance. Now I will...
