Park Place Diner truly embodies the best of small-town dining: family-friendly vibes, excellent prices, a warm and cozy atmosphere, and a menu that will impress any palate. It’s one of those places where you feel at home the moment you walk in.
This has become a favorite breakfast spot for my daughters and me. The wait staff go above and beyond to make every visit special for the kids, from adding whipped cream and sprinkles to their hot chocolate or chocolate milk to making them feel seen and welcome. The kids' menu is great, with a variety that keeps even the pickiest eaters happy.
The wait staff are exceptional—friendly, patient, and always eager to help with suggestions or accommodate any meal modifications you might want. Their understanding and kindness make each visit feel like a treat, even if you’re just there for a quick bite.
Given the quality of food and service, there can sometimes be a wait, but it’s usually short and well worth it. Plus, the owner’s presence on the floor, always cheerful and engaged with customers, adds to the diner’s welcoming charm.
As for the food? I’m a big fan of the McNick Breakfast Sandwich, and their Eggs Benedict selections are outstanding. My personal favorite is the Mississippi Benny—an absolute must-try!
Overall, Park Place Diner is a gem in our community, and it’s the kind of place that makes you look forward to...
Read moreTerrible experience, this most recent time around. I've ordered plenty of times with Park Place with no issues and I used to rant and rave about it.
Not anymore, especially with the interaction I had with the owner of Park Place. I had a to go order and when I opened it up at home the sandwhich was unedible and disgusting... bread was soggy. The mac salad wasn't in a seperate container, it was in the same container as the food. Therefore the mac salad got warm. Then thats when I called, the girl at the front handed the phone over to the owner. Then when I was on the phone with the owner and explained what happened and he asked what would you like me to do. So I told the owner I would like a refund for the terrible sandwich that was made. He said I can make you a new plate and I said no. He then starts to swear at me and call me names. I was calm and said I am not going to be disrespected in this manner, and he hung up on me. I am not going to be sworn at just because the owner has a lack of communication skills.
So If you enjoy food that isn't made with care and by an owner who doesn't care then Park Place is the...
Read moreI work nearby and on days I dont pack a lunch I grab fast food from one of the many places in the area. Recently I decided to get takeout from the diner around the corner and was excited to get "real food". What a mistake. The guy who took my order on the phone kept talking over me and rushed the conversation so to no surprise my order was incorrect. I stood at the front counter for a lengthy time waiting for someone to cash me out, all the while my food was sitting right there in a bag ready for pick up even though I showed up early, so to no surprise my food was cold. The food itself was a huge disappointment. I had a chicken salad club with fries. The fries had no salt and were mush. The toast on the sandwich was dark. The chicken salad itself was so bland, had zero seasoning, absolutely nothing but chicken and mayo in it, and the chicken was minced up so tiny it resembled cat food. My lettuce was dripping wet and the tomato was under ripe. What a waste of $15...I put it all in the trash and learned a lesson about getting food...
