I went threw the driveway with my Daughter at the Burger King located at 1298 State Route 332 Farmington, Ny 14425 and Placed an order. Paid and was asked to drive around to the other side of the building and my order would be brought out to me. After at least 15 minutes of waiting I went into the store and told them I was still waiting for my driver threw order. The young boy behind the counter (the same boy that cashed me out at in the drive threw.) asked what was in my order. I told him. He looked around and couldn't find it. He asked a female worker at this time if she had accidentally given it to someone else. She said no. At this time they couldn't remember making my order. So they made my order while I waited inside. At this time I had been at Burger King for over 25 minutes.
After finally receiving what I thought was my complete order, I ask if my cookies were in the bag. They were not so the boy retrieved my cookies putting them into the bag. At this time I walk to my vehicle where my Daughter is waiting. She goes through the bag noticing one of the sandwiches wasn't correct. It was only a single and not a double cheeseburger. So I took the sandwich back inside. I told the man behind the counter who I later find out was the manager named Larry. He told me he couldn't make me the correct sandwich if I didn't give back the wrong one because he wasn't just handing out free food. So I tossed the burger over the counter to him and at this time he picks up his phone and started yelling, swearing and calling me names. I felt very threatened when he told the person on the phone he wanted to slap me.
The female that was working the driveway told me that I caused him to act this way. Larry continued to scream and swear and make threats about me to whomever he was talking to at the time.
I was so distraught and scared for my safety that as soon as I got my last sandwich I went to my car, locked my door and called the police. When the police arrived I told the female officer what had happened. The sheriff, kept looking at the door where the manager Larry was standing and watching and what appeared to be yelling. One I finished my conversation with the officer I left and she went into the store to speak to the staff. I have never in my life been treated this way. As a long time manager myself I could never imagine speaking to a customer like that. He is clearly in the wrong business and needs to be fired at the very least. I will no longer support that local Burger...
Read moreEVERY time I come threw the drive thru I never get the correct items handed to me and have to pull into the parking lot and walk inside and since they NEVER give me a reciept and always claim its broken or whatever I always end up having to buy whatever they messed up. I swear to god EVERYSINGLE time I go threw this drive threw they either forget the fries, a pie, its always something. Come on girls. I was a manager at Burger King for years and actually enjoyed being one and working there and would have never allowed that or done that to my customers so KEN you need to get those girls a reality check and make them do their job correctly. Because there is no reason why 4 times in ONE MONTH i recieved the wrong food, and one out of the four times the woman behind the counter gave me a really rude sarcastic attitude when i was being nothing but nice & just wanted my order corrected. I should have been the one with the attitude not the worker. I never walk out with a smile or feeling good about going to your burger king. There is something wrong with that! You make people feel like we are a chore and like a burden. KEN-you should give you crew a few shifts of just manners and reteach them what being a burger king crew member and serving the public is all about. Customer service is putting a smile on a customers face. Not making a customer walk away cussing all the way home swearing they will never stop there again. Just wanted you to know if this is the way I was treated and feel Im sure Im not alone and there are MANY more that feel the SAME WAY. thank you for your time listening to me rant. Your resterant is very close to my home and I WOULD frequent it DAILY if i was given the common courtsey and not mistreated and never once been given a correct order. I have to go all the way to Cndga just to get my whopper meals cuz i dont want the attitudes from some of your employees. Thank you...
Read moreTwo stars as the ladies at the registers were friendly and they get the stars. I was just irritated by the 'constant' questions. The interaction was "Welcome to Burger King, what can I get you" BK "A cheeseburger, and a small fry. Thank you" Me "Would you like a drink?" BK "No, thank you" me "How about 2 cookies for $1.00" BK "No, thanks " me "Can I get you to donate $5 to national hunger" (something, can't remember the full organization. BK "Not today " me "How about $1" BK "No. I'm all set." Me "Ok, please drive to the first window". Bk...not so happy voice. I drive to window. "Your total is $5.97(or something around there)Can I get you to donate $.03? This will round up your total."BK "Sure" me. At this point, I am just irritated. I wanted a quick stop, and an organization that knows boundaries. No means no. I much prefer donating to our local food pantry, which my family and I do, than donate to the National Hunger organization. Not that it matters. BK needs to stop pestering customers with 'upselling'. It was so over the top. More than I have felt in any other business. I gave you my order and said 'No' 4 times!! If I hadn't donated .03, then it would have been 5. My order could have been done in a quick manner, but it wasn't due to whatever BKs management is having their team do. Over the top.
The burger was standard. The fries were luke warm.
Unfortunately, I won't be back. Dunkin, KFC, McDonalds, and Taco Bell are all right there. I will give them a try before having to answer 30 questions before I...
