Modern day torture.
First anything for sale at cvs can easily be found up to 40% off. Anything.
Cvs uses a messaging app regarding prescriptions that I find in one way or another is responsible for errors and ommisions in fully 70 percent of my prescriptions. I used to use the rite aid in beacon and yes the system was not perfect but reasonable. 3-5 percent. Insurance changed pharmacies, I am a hostage. I am recovering but for the moment need 20 plus prescriptions and oh about 5 or so for a few days monthly. They have policies beyond state/federal requirements that may randomly require a recontact with my doctor. In the last 3 days I have had 3 prescriptions (essential) that were delayed up to 18 hours while they hassle my surgeon for confirmation. I called yesterday and spoke to Marianna, the store manager to work to save me the wasted time in the future. I have recently had major abdominal surgery, their idiot unnecessary checks delayed un necessary contacting my doctor, leaving me in extreme pain for 60 hours, despite my surgeons confirmation. They are so in inept that they relay on my doctors to check their ability read. I am so angry, and it has been 30 hours since I last spoke to them. My god I am in severe pain, I need $7 in pain meds. Their idiot system will not fill until I confirm I have $7. Then wait 12 hours. If you are able, do not walk run. Since I have no choice but to deal with these idiots who are challenged by basic reading comprehension, I hope the pharmacist will keep our meeting next week to reduce the torture. Ffs. $7? You cannot buy a pack of gum in this hole, but they don’t ask at the door. Just go to rite aid in beacon 90% right, not the reverse. I have them on record dancing around the truth and...
Read moreEase of obtaining merchandise and then paying for it - Pharmacy included=POOR. Needed ink cartridge. They are LOCKED - I walk to front (busy cashiers) and tell one I need that item. So she unlocks it and begins to go to the front. No, I'm not done shopping, and I have to visit the Pharmacy. So she brings my item to the pharmacy! As if I am going to walk out with the damn thing. Ok, so I can't find file folder labels/hanging file tabs (they don't carry). Ok, so I get my husband's script. Clerk calls me a "patient" - then proceeds to ask for name. I said there's an ink cartridge being held for me. He rudely says, sign name on tablet first. Ok, did that. Then I have script - he asks for $5. No, I also need my cartridge, please. I wrote some of check out ahead of time, with license. DOB, license #, and Finally, I have a total. I have to sign again - only last name made it on this TABLET. Finally, after waiting in line for 15 mins (only one clerk on register), I have my merchandise. Electronic checkout sucks - it takes MUCH longer than the old fashioned system that existed years ago. VERY inefficient - and by the way, your medical info. & ID can still be lifted. I go here only when ABSOLUTELY necessary, like Wally World. By the way - there are two cashiers who've been here for years (I've gotten scripts etc here for the past 16 years). They are very pleasant, lovely ladies....
Read moreUnfortunately, this facility has been going down hill this past year. I have been waiting for my ozempic and as a diabetic this is the medicine I have been taking for months. My endocrinologist sends my new script in to be filled. I receive a text from CVS saying “we are contacting your Dr. for an alternative medication for RX O. Will text when ready”. This obviously has not happened. My dr has a small office and I have been in communication with the office manager who said he has never received any type of communication from CVS. I called the pharmacist who proceeded to advise me that the dr needs to give me a new script or I can call around and check other pharmacies. Who does that? He said he can’t help me and that I have to call and find either another pharmacy or get another script. 1) no customer service; 2) absolutely rude and had an attitude because I questioned him; and 3) automated messages are not correct m leaving customers confused about their needed medication putting the patient at risk because of the pharmacies ability to communicate clearly the issues. My entire family processes all their medication at this location. Looks like it’s time to find another pharmacy that listens to...
