Green Garden Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Town of Fishkill

The dishes had no flavor with thin, watered down sauce. Soups and dumplings were good. General Tso chicken was overly cooked and dry. The sauce was sticky sweet with no spicy kick. Chicken with garlic sauce was perfectly prepared and cooked except the thin watery sauce had no flavor and no spicy garlic heat. The chicken lo mein and pork fried rice were also flavorless. Its a shame because it appeared that they used quality ingredients and cut it perfectly. Seemed like the cook never tasted any of this. Not sure how they can get the food right but fall short...

Good Chinese food has been difficult to find lately but I would give Green Garden a B+... the wontons in the soup were light and delicate not doughy, the orange beef was tender with just the right amount of heat, the garlic shrimp was good...large, tender shrimp but sauce was so so...fried rice was good...all in all, I...

Personally, I thought this restaurant was awful. My meal tasted as tho it was loaded with salt. The staff were constantly screaming at each other in Chinese, The service was awful, my wallet got stolen while I was there, there are several really good restaurants in Fishkill, but this place was not one of them...
