When I checked out at the cashier's counter, the front of the blanket.I want buy the shirt ,,but they dont have my size in store, she already scan the item, but i ask her about order online, because the size dont fit me, she said:" keep the shirt and go home take a look on website and make order online by my seft then come back to return this item". i ask her , we cant order online at the store, she said cant, i know something wrong on her. After that i go another cashier's at the front , she make so easy. I know this is a new store, the store just open 3 days and every thing is new for every one, but she does had trainning before she do the cashier,if she forgot she can ask some worker to help her and she can learn how to do it, thats her jobs. Ā Ā Ā Read moreTwo weeks after the grand opening of the Greece, NY, store when everything looked nice, the store was a mess today (11/10): dirty dressing rooms, clothes on the floor, littered carpeting and piles of merch needing to be reshelved. I was so disappointed, as Iāve been a steady customer for years shopping Boscovās in the Albany area and so excited to have it open here. I donāt want Boscovās to become like another local store (K) which is always messy now. While I appreciate having a wide selection of merchandise to choose from, it poses problems from a management standpoint because itās hard to put things back on already crowded racks that are close together. Items drop and folks donāt put things back neatly, so the mess builds up quickly. I hope they donāt have a skeleton crew to manage such a large store. There was one person and a long line at the checkout area I used. Boscovās is one of my favorite stores; hopefully this is just a āGrand Openingā anomaly. I wish them them success here...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had never went to or heard of a boscovs before it was announced. When my family and I walked to it I imagined what would fit in the space that Burlington used to be. I never in my wildest dreams would have imagined what felt like a modern version of my childhood experiences in a department store. The place is MASSIVE! It literally goes from where Burlington was down to where Jim's was. Like if you decided to go to Dick's or Barnes and Noble and you came in through the mall you would have to go through Boscovs to get there. Which I think it super interesting building choice.
This place has everything, home, mattresses curtains, blankets, candy (best sour gummy worms I have ever had) fudge, beautiful Tiffany lamps jewelry clothing etc. They had a piano player and a grand opening ceremony in the mall!
I hope this place does well, keeps amazing sales, thrives and brings our dying mall...
