I have been a client there for 3 years seeing Kathy, who is amazing. There was a new owner that took over and all of the other 3 amazing nail techs left. The place is quiet, calm and they are attempting to upgrade. However, although there are a million colors of nail polish, I'm pretty sure the product that they use to fill nails is cheaper or there's something going on with it. In my entire 3 years time I've had to have one nail fixed due to breakage and none whatsoever have ever popped off. I gave the new owners a shot. Kathy made my nails look beautiful but I've had on average 2 to 3 nails just randomly pop off. My last visit my nail popped off the evening after I got my nails done. They always fix them and don't charge me... But I don't have time to continually be running back to get nails that should have been put on correctly in the first place. I know it is not Kathy because she has been my nail tech for the last 3 years and things have been fine. The only common denominator with all the nails popping off is new probably cheaper products and new owner. I know it's not just me, because I have talked to a few other people who tried to stay there and their nails are popping off too. My 84 year old mother goes to Kathy as well and hasn't had a problem until the last month or so when her nails are popping off too. The price for a fill has also gone up and although I love Kathy, neither one of us won't be coming back. Rebuttal to reply: The cat's eye $5 extra charge was the very first time after new mgmt. I only found out later that it was extra from talking to someone. You throw nail polish on people that is extra and no one ever tells you that it is extra at the time. It just comes as a surprise at checkout. Kathy is the best. Sea and one other girl are the only two that stayed with you. You and your husband/ boyfriend are fake. When the name dream spa comes up in conversation it's one of the first things that people mention even before your services. My mom chooses to be independent and she comes and goes as she pleases. I don't control where she goes or how to gets there. If she wants me to drive her someplace myself or my daughter usually take her anywhere. You know nothing about her. You have done something different to your product/something isn't right because nails don't pop off when they aren't exposed to water and you aren't hard on them. The last time I was there, two nails ended up popping off. I made an appointment at the salon next to my hairdresser, which is a salon with an amazing reputation. I did not tell them where I got my nails done until they started working on them and they were like, " where the hell did you get these done?" The nails that were brand new, that Kathy had redone, were just popping off. I know the people are not happy there. Prior to you taking over the salon was vibrant and had lots of customers. Now it's dead or just a couple of clients. Even your girls admit it's really slow. A lot of the girls are just sitting around or doing things to keep themselves busy. You can make your space look beautiful, you can offer millions of colors, but it's all about how the product stands up. The other day I was at work and the teacher next door had a nail pop off that she had done only two days prior at Dream Spa. She said this is the second time it has happened and it's so unusual because she's been going there for the last 5 years and it hasn't happened. She is seeking out one of the girls that had a huge clientele because she knows she'll get quality. You made the decision to force out three of the most popular nail technicians in the area. I am not the only customer who is dissatisfied. You just don't see those people because they followed their nail techs. You can work in your perfect little bubble, putting details into colors/furniture etc. but at the end of the day it's about your product durability, and are your customers truly satisfied. The fact that you need to outwardly reply in a very defensive manner and attack me really says it...
Read moreI’ve been a loyal client of LeLe, who had been doing my pedicures for several years. When she moved to Dream Salon & Spa, I didn’t hesitate to follow her—and I’m glad I did.
Dream Salon & Spa, located in Greece, is a beautiful and modern facility. The salon is well-maintained with up-to-date furnishings and staffed by experienced, friendly technicians. If you're looking for a place for high-quality manicures or pedicures, I highly recommend giving them a try.
On one visit, while LeLe was away on vacation, Kathy took care of my pedicure and did a great job.
Update: During my most recent monthly visit, I learned that LeLe is no longer with the salon. However, Farris and Hannah kindly recommended Kathy again, and she delivered excellent service. As always, the team gave me a warm and welcoming experience. Well today I made my monthly stop at Dream Spa & Salon. Had to take care of my Toe-Nails. As always Kathy took care of me. A great job. I also noticed another new employee was hired, a young gentlemen. He was very polite and courteous. And I also notice the left side of the shop as you walk in has some new furniture. I saw a couple long tables near the nail polish shelves. These are new Manicure stations. Hannah and Farris are always doing things to make our visit better. I strongly suggest to any and all to visit this salon for your next Manicure...
Read moreWent in with my daughter for a fill and nail repair for me and a manicure and basic polish for my daughter. They have a very large selections of colors, my nail tech rushed me into a choice that i now regret.I told them basic polish for my daughter and they grabbed the gel I had to say something, again. Her nail tech argued with me that she should get gel. She Said "can you hear what im saying?" I said "can you hear me the mom and what im saying?" I shouldn't have to explain myself. Just complete the service requested. My nail tech kept asking me to relax my hands during the issue with other nail tech and kept slapping my hand. My nail repair is a completely different shape than my other nails. I asked to change shape from almond to stiletto; some are close to pointed but almost all are still slightly rounded at top and wider than what a true stiletto should be. Ive gone to this shop a handful of times each time with small issues I could normally look past. But, arguing over polish request bc you want more money landed that nail tech with no tip. I still tipped my tech even with being unsatisfied with the work, again from this salon. This is my last time wasting my time and money when there are literally so many salons in Greece. The salon does...
