Harbor Freight — Local services in Town of Halfmoon

I purchased the Black Diamond Table Top 7" Wet Saw Tile cutter, which I researched on-,line to be #4 of the Top 10 tile cutters. I opened the box, followed the directions and began my project, only to discovery that the diamond saw was not cutting the tile. After carefully trying to figure out, for what seemed like forever, I returned to the Clifton Park store with the tile cutter and Casey came over to assist me immediately. She listen patiently as I explained what I thought the issue may be. After several attempts to correct the issue, she suggested I leave the tile cutter at the store so that an experienced staff member who knows tile cutters could see what they could do to correct the issue.... Ian corrected the issue immediately, Casey called me at home with the good news and I am up and running... Excellent customer service that is truly hard to find today.... Thank you Casey and...

Great staff, nice people, clean store, great selection.. that being said, 99% of what they sell is exclusively made in China. Some tools/items are quality, but most, well, you can figure out the rest. I try my best to not support the CCP in any way shape or form, and to buy American made products as much as I possibly can. Although, on occasion I will make a purchase or two, but only when there's no other choice and it's absolutely necessary to do so, though they do usually have all the Chinese tools/items in stock. I love everything about the store itself, and like I said, the people are great. But the fact they exclusively sell Chinese products (3 stars knocked off for that alone) is what keeps me away from the store, and is the thing that keeps me from being a...

Bought a tool box on a special sale. It was out of stock. I usually shop the Colonie location. I have a ton of tools and only buy a tool or something to upgrade or replace now and then. And harbor freight always has coupons. I asked for a discount on the tool chest, or something else. With gas prices it cost $20 to get their and back. And I have to come back again. Another $20 bucks! I asked the manager who was less than friendly. He said no. But like I was beggar! I said well I need a new air compressor and a new predator engine for my kids go-kart.
