A few weeks ago, Oscar helped me place two customized cake orders for my sister's wedding, and his kindness and attentiveness left a lasting impression on me. He was genuinely warm and friendly, and I could tell he truly cared about making the experience special.
Today, I went to pick up the cakes, and they were absolutely gorgeousâbeautifully decorated and perfectly done. However, there was a small issue: one of the cakes had a misspelling. It was supposed to say âCongratulations Mr. and Mrs. Smith,â but it instead said âCongratulations Ms. & Mrs. Smith.â While I wasnât overly upset, I knew it would need to be fixed before the wedding tomorrow.
The woman behind the counter was incredibly helpful as well. She immediately took action, taking photos of the cake and comparing it to the order sheet. She was transparent with me and explained that she wasnât a cake decorator and couldnât fix it herself. However, she reassured me that she would send the photos to her manager and ask him to contact me. She was so kind and made me feel heard, though I could tell she felt awful about the mistake.
As I was walking out of the store, I noticed Oscar near the parking lotâalmost as if fate brought us together! Even though he seemed to be heading out for the day, he recognized me and I quickly explained the situation. Oscar didnât hesitate for a second. He insisted we go back to the bakery immediately so he could fix the cake himself. He was so genuine and determined to make sure the mistake was corrected, saying it was absolutely not acceptable.
Within just a couple of minutes, Oscar fixed the cake perfectlyâthere was no trace of the error, and it looked absolutely flawless. I could not have been more grateful for his professionalism, kindness, and quick action.
While I was so appreciative of the woman behind the counter for her help, it was Oscar who truly went above and beyond. In all my years of interacting with customer service, Iâve never encountered such thoughtful, compassionate service. Both Oscar and the woman behind the counter went out of their way to ensure everything was taken care of, and I will always remember their kindness.

   Read moreThis Costco AT&T counter is incredibly so disappointing. Their staff are not professional and definitely need more training before they serve customers. I stayed there one and a half hour and didn't get anything done! This experience is just so bad, and i will never go there again or choose Costco's cellphone counter.
They told me there is promotion for AT&T New Customers in July. Since my current H20 is under AT&T already, I can not be counted as new customers to get the promotion. So they suggested that I switch to "Visible" to use their free trial, then switch to AT&T. All tedious long forms were filled, he helped me apply Visible free trial and contact H2o to cancel all my current service, which is already time consuming, then he just found out that Visible free trial can't port in my current cell phone number after he chatted to Visible's customer service. SO, I lost my number and had to only use the NEW VISIBLE CELL NUMBER. Are you just kidding me? We stated we want to keep our number in the beginning, if you are not sure that we can keep the old number, why not explain in the beginning? So much time was just wasted in vain. He just acted like he could handle it without any problem.
Then another person came and tried to be more professional, but he didn't' really help. He talked to another staff for something else while letting me play around with H2o and Visible Apps on my phone. He just asked useless information when I was calling H2o in that noisy and crowding surrounding at Costco.
SO, I had to call H2o to restore my number and old service. Then call VIsible to cancel the trial and return to where I was like nothing happened. It caused me so much trouble and wasted me so much time.
I didn't complain at the site, because I can't stay there any more. I can't bear keeping standing there after one and half hour for this worst experience and I had to go to my car to hear clearly what H20 customer service said.
If there is somewhere else for me to leave bad comments specifically for AT&& counter at costco, let me know, and I will go there.
