I was so excited to try it here so here is an honest review! It has its ups and downs, and its worth is really up to the beholder. First off, you need to go as soon as they open on a friday morning to get anything worth 12 dollars. Some things are worth 12 dollars, some arent so you need to sort through the stuff which can be hard as everyone is grabbing and running the best things. The other thing that you NEED to be aware of is some of the things aren't new. They look new and are in good packaging, but when you open them you realize that it is used. I got an air fryer here and whether or not it was worth it is up to you. I took it home and it was wrapped as if it were brand new, packaging and all. But once I opened it it was CLEAR that it had been used and the basket was dirty, greasy, and had food pieces in it. Not new. Now a used airfryer might just be worth 12 dollars to someone cause I mean you wash it and use it...But that is definitely not what I believed. On the other hand, I got a knife set, well worth more than 12 dollars and it was clear that this on the other hand was not used...Same with a casper pillow I got that was brand new and more than worth it. Point being...I bought 9 items. 4 were seemingly brand new, 3 were clearly used/ missing things but I can still use them...2 had to go into the trash because they were completely unusable (broken skillets, charger/plate was missing in a lunch box that was needed to work it). My friend got a toothbrush here that she said smells very bad.....so be careful. When it comes to cash, the ones that I lost out on makes up in money for the ones that I did win out on, but I had to fight to the death to get them in the crowds.
In the end, I would say that this place can be worth it, BUT my greatest advice is that in the back you can open the boxes with the staff. I didn't want to because the line was very very very very long and seemed to be hours long so I took my chances...but to get the most value, you need to go and check everything and make sure its worth the purchase. It totally can be worth it, but it has to be followed up on a chosen carefully. I give it three stars for the stuff I lost, but the stuff I did get was worth the time...
Read moreLet me set the scene here- my boyfriend and I ,on memorial day (Monday), walk into this wide open space on the second floor of a newly renovated building, as we walk in we see 3-4 rows of wooden tables with random packages, and inventory. My boyfriend is flabbergasted and confused as to what is going on, but I had known from my best friend what this little slice of heaven was, it was a bargain shoppers dream come true. I start going thru different packages, while trying to explain to him what this place is. Slowly he is starting to comprehend what I am saying, but is apprehensive, not quite understanding that this stuff is overstock, all legit, real and working. As he is going thru all the inventory he finds something incredible, a shower body kit (he is a plumber) he is questioning everything, asking how is this even legal. Well let me tell you, it is legal and it is great, will the inventory be better on certain occasions compared to others, yes of course it will, but that is expected with what this place is selling. Much like with most thrift stores it will always be a hit or miss. Its the thrill of what you can find that brings you in. The employee we dealt with at the register was knowledgeable, personable and kind. My boyfriend has told everyone about this place and is already begging to go back! I encourage everyone to go test this place out for themselves, and remember this is an overstock pallet place you get...
