Terrible experience. Came in on 05-16-25 for a simple trim. Waited about 20 minutes. I made small talk with Roma and told him I was visiting from out of state. I showed him that the front should only be trimmed a little so it wouldn’t spike up when combed back. I told Roma exactly the blade number depth I wanted above my ears and up the sides. I also told Roma twice not to touch my sideburns and that it was already trimmed down to match my beard. I also showed him with my fingers where on the sideburns I didn’t want him to cut. Yet he completely ignored me and trimmed off my sideburns so fast with a trimmer I couldn’t even stop him. I decided to keep calm at this point. Roma kept pushing (3X) to trim my beard, which I trimmed down to just greater than stubble length (very short) before I arrived. It has a lot of white in it and his final comment to me after I wouldn’t budge (it cost $20 extra, I believe) was to tell me I looked like Santa Claus and I shouldn’t look like that until December. I had to tell him three times to drop it - I just couldn’t believe he insulted me like that because I didn’t want him to do just what he wanted. Then he insisted on shaving my neck, even though he only used a trimmer on the previous client. I said no, I just want him to use the trimmer. He told me this is a shop that shaves and I said no again. Then he suddenly slaps shaving cream on me and I had to say no again! Then he tells me he already put it on and I told him it take it off! I honestly don’t know why I had to keep arguing with him! Turns out the hair gel he used masked the fact he cut way too much from the front and now my hair stands up like a circus clown. I never spend more than ten minutes sitting for a haircut and never have issues - I can’t remember an experience like this ever! To top it off, Daniel interceded and apologized and said it was a misunderstanding - in my opinion, it was just acting unprofessional and more about what Roma wanted, not a communication or understanding problem. Then Daniel says the power was out (but the outlets all worked!) and the card reader doesn’t work. He asks if I can Zelle him cash to his wife’s personal checking account (this place doesn’t have its own bank account?) and says $32. I say the sign says $30! He even told me $30 over the phone the day before when I called for their hours and if I needed an appointment. He says, well, it’s $32, but you can pay me $30. What? Despite this, I did include a smaller than usual tip to be nice. Daniel asked me to give them another chance - I gave it a weekend and decided against it and to write this review. Never give this place money again. Only plus: Probably don’t need to get another haircut until the end of...
Read moreProfessional, Friendly, and Very clean! Received an excellent hair cut from Danny the owner of Manny’s 3. He’s been cutting hair for over a decade and started in his father’s barbershop Manny’s. I am not fussy but Danny’s attention to detail was unmatched and I plan to go back. Thanks Rocco and keep up the...
Read moreAbsolutely terrible, if you go here do not let Rome cut your hair. I asked for him to take a little bit off of the top (I have curly hair) he then takes off so much that my hair is straight and can’t curl. He cannot cut hair, I’m not sure if it’s his age but he just cannot cut hair. Do not let him cut your hair.
I feel bad because the gentleman who owns it is very nice and good at cutting hair, he’s young and understands trends. But Rome simply doesn’t. I won’t ever be going back here again.
Rome needs to go for me to ever come back there, he’s terrible at his job.
I hate the haircut yet still tipped him...
