Wayback Burgers — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

First time ever at a Wayback burgers place. Was super excited to try the mint shakes. My daughter and I tried at the same time and both realized they were not edible. The artificial mint left a horrible aftertaste. I went back in with my daughter to explain that after taking a sip we were unable to drink them. The lady at the register was extremely rude and said well what would you like me to do about it? You already drank it. I said we took a sip and will have to throw them away. I asked that she provide good customer service and maybe we can get a plain one, like vanilla instead? She said yea sure whatever you want and continued to be rude while making us a sample so we cant complain we dont like this one also. I felt her reaction was very unprofessional. The sample we got tasted good and i thanked her for making us a new one.. as she continued to have an attitude. We got in the car and took a sip of the vanilla and this was also not edible! It tasted like it would definitely make someone sick if they continued to drink it. We wasted $20 on those two shakes... We also got food- the burger and fries were delicious.

I will not be returning. Lesson learned the shakes were no good - maybe it's their machines that mix them or the milk was bad? Both of us felt the same way. I'm not super picky just honestly was so excited to try it and was extremely disappointed. The customer service I received...

I had ordered a cheeseburger with the wayback gold sauce & chips with soda. The burger was good but majorly lacked sauce. The chips were good but way too much salt that I had to constantly calm it down with soda after a few bites every time. However, the crispness of the chips were amazing.

Service: I had a terrible service. There were two young ladies (1 blonde & 1 brunette) and an older woman working there. They didn't seem to know what they were doing at all unfortunately when I asked them questions about the menu or that Adelphi students receive 10% off. I had asked if the toppings for the burger was free and the brunette said it's 50 cents each but after a while corrected herself after looking through the menu on the register. They depended on one of the young ladies who had blonde hair and asked her for everything. The brunette charged me extra on my soda & chips even though I had pointed out on the menu when I was ordering it. She charged them separately instead of the chips & soda combo I wanted. I had complained that to the older woman. I did not want the money for a couple of cents but wish they knew what they were all doing. The experience was...

The food was pretty good, portion size of sides is smaller than comparable burger places. The customer service is seriously lacking.

I ordered from here for delivery and they forgot something from my order. I called immediately after noticing and I was told that they had the missing item there at the store and they would send it back out with the driver... then, nothing. After 40 minutes I called back....4x with no answer, went to their voicemail. Finally, after an hour, someone picked up. The person I spoke to then said he was "aware of the problem" but, "it got busy," and they weren't going to send my item and they weren't going to reach out to me to tell me that. They refunded the part of my order that the item was missing from, but I didn't receive one apology. The food wasn't bad, but the customer service, or lack thereof, left a bad taste in my mouth. I likely will not eat...
