I used to love this place and I wish I could give it zero star after this experience today. I had a friend from out of town who asked for a reputable place to do her nails. I thought of this place because my gel manicure was always perfect. I havent been in a while and she needed a pedicure, I called and asked (as I never got pedicures at this location) and they said it was $16. I got there, said she’s getting a pedicure, they said again it’s $16.

We walked to her pedi chair, the lady asked her which color, she said she’ll do french. They proceeded and started the process. I sat on the couch and waited for her. As her toes are drying I go to pay I give 100 and they took $21 instead of $16?? When I said we were told $16? The owner said « oh french is more. » (You tell us now? Why didn’t you tell her it would be more when she said she wanted french?) So we said « that’s not what we were told. » My friend was shocked.

NOW HERE’S THE GOOD PART... As we are about to leave we say thank you and the owner goes « the tip? » I was so shocked I go « excuse me? » She goes « ur forgetting the tip » my friend asks me what happened? I tell her she is asking for the tip and my friend thinking It’s required, gives it. We left and I was shaking, I walked back inside and calmly said « fyi she loves the painted toes, but tip is never included especially when you neglected to tell her of price change, I told her this was a reputable place and all you did was ruin the honesty of your business. I am good so i’ll let it slide. » the owner says « I remember you, you used to come here. » I go « OF COURSE! I used to come here to get my gel manicure all the time, A shame I never got a pedi, because I would have known and warned her. You’re mistake was misleading us by not telling us it was more and ASKING for a tip as if it were required. Please for future reference tip is never included. »

21 to paint toes? No cuticle removing or scrubbing? And you dare ask for tip? Pictures added. I’m embarrassed to have suggested here.

Ive been going here for a few months and it was usually fine I always did just a solid color. A few times I’d get a simple design and be charged according to that. Decent prices for the designs. I got a simple design of squiggles on my nails and the girl who was doing my nails was evidently new. She took forever ( I went in at 1:30 and got out of there at 4 pm), she cut me once, did not file and shape my nails properly and her design skills were not that great. I had requested her to fix the design many times. Regardless of that, I did not complain because she was noticeably nervous. I understand how it is being the new guy and everybody new has to practice somewhere. When I went to go pay, the guy at the register was so rude when I asked him why I was being charged $35 for a basic design. Instead of cooperating or making any sense of the price for literally squiggles with white and blue polish, no gems no nothing, he stays very stern on the price. I told him to take my card and charge the price he was giving me but that it literally made no sense to charge me $35 for literal squiggles. Instead of being cooperative or at least making some sort of sense of his pricing, he continues to be rude and ignorant. This went on for a few minutes but I’m honestly baffled at how he was okay with being so rude and unprofessional. I am extremely disappointed in the way I was spoken to and how the entire situation was handled. That is not how you speak to people at all especially if they are your customers. The two stars I gave is for the only guy that does nails. I don’t remember his name but he was always very sweet. If he wasn’t busy with another customer at the time I would’ve requested for...

just nowNEW I’d give this place zero stars if I could. They scammed me so hard. I went and asked for sns extension and the lady told me it was 45 dollars but then she also charged me for the shape of the nails (almond) an extra whole ten dollars and another ten dollars to make it matte. I don’t mind paying extra but none of this was told me to me before and there are no signs up stating that all of this cost extra so essentially this is horrible business practice and customers shouldn’t be surprised with extra charges at the end of their experience. Lol and the owner called the police cuz I told him he didn’t put all the signs up and I was upset because of it.
