Stay away from this place, very shady practices indeed. Went in to ask if they repair broken ports on an iPhone, (mine was loose and had still been able to charge if laying down only not while moving when I bought it in). He asked me what phone could he see, I took it out and told him he looked at it and without saying anything he removed my phone from the case and took it behind the counter and plugged it in out of sight. I didnāt ask him to do anything, he was asked 3 times what he was doing before he answered to say he was checking the port to see if it had any obstructions in the port. Iād already told him that the port was the sole issue while he tried to say he had to check if it was the port or the motherboard. Still I had not asked him to do anything or authorized him to do anything. My phone was fully charged and had a loose connection for the port. Something felt off, especially as the two other repair places Iād checked out beforehand had not had to touch my phone for a simple inquiry and quoted the time and cost and both answered directly when asked if they guaranteed their work. All three repair places had a sign saying they guarantee their repairs, however this vendor sidestepped the question to say, āMaybe it will work, maybe it wonāt, maybe itās the motherboardā¦ā. I reminded him again that the phone works perfectly and charges but needed the port replacing. Fast forward upon reaching home I put it back to charge, only to find that my phone port was no longer functioning. Whatever he had done, or whatever third party accessory he used killed whatever functionality the port had, not cool at all! Suffice to say, I dodged a bullet as I read other comments regarding the quality of their customer service and general service is less than stellar. Honest service is worth its weight in gold, and this place misses the mark. Find somewhere else who will be more...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI would agree with other users. This place is a fraud. They sold me a broken item, because two days after purchase the prop stand on the back of the case fell off. A little plastic knob was missing in one corner, but if you put it on properly you could get it to work. In less than two weeks I dropped my phone and guess what? The super duper "best phone protector" case broke. It's made of a hard, inflexible plastic that WILL break. When I went to trade it in the guy tried to sell me another hard plastic case, not as sturdy looking, and tells me 'it's better than the one I got". I ended up with a cheaper one and no kind of refund whatsoever. And slickster took my receipt. I didn't care at that point because I'm just going to let everyone know. I think there are a lot of fake reviews here. Just check out the names of people leaving reviews. Someone probably asked their friends to leave reviews. They'll probably catch on and ask different friends. You're better off buying some cheap $5 case off the street. Cases are very expensive here, and I wouldn't mind spending the money if the merchandise wasn't so cheap. If zero stars...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI just bought the Galaxy S25 Ultra. I needed a protective screen. He almost dropped my phone moving fast. I purchased the screen for $25+ tax. He put on the screen and they are not compatible with the fingerprint sensor so I can barely use the fingerprint scan. He told me I needed to just redo my fingerprints, which is not true. I redid the fingerprints after I already left and it doesn't really work well. I may get scan after many attempts. Please test your fingerprint scans before swiping your card. UPDATE: I had touch sensitivity setting on my phone that solved the fingerprint issue. So I'm adding a star back but the screen doesn't cover the entire screen and he almost dropped my phone. So, maybe he isn't a scammer. But the fingerprint scan with this screen still...
