I went to Posh Deli to order a sandwich, and let me just say—this experience was beyond disappointing. First off, it’s under new ownership, which might explain the chaotic mess of construction happening inside. Fine, it’s early days—I can understand that. But they claimed their kitchen was open, so I placed my order: honey maple turkey with a vegetable omelet, mozzarella cheese, on a toasted hero.
What did I get when I got home? No cheese, untoasted bread, and a sandwich that tasted downright awful. To make matters worse, when I called to politely address the issue, they had the audacity to hang up on me! No apology, no accountability—just rude.
Consider this a heads-up to anyone in the area: Posh Deli is under new ownership, and they clearly have no clue how to provide decent service or take responsibility for...
Read moreGive this spot a try! They offer bacon egg and cheese sandwiches for $6, including a free small coffee. If you've seen the prices of some of these local spots, you understand that this is a great deal. On top of that, they offer breakfast all day, unlike most places in the area that stop around noon.
When you aren't feeling breakfast, you can always rely on a beautiful chopped cheese, as you'd expect from the city. You really can't go wrong. They have quite the variety, including juices, salads and a bunch of drink/snack options.
They are under new ownership too so if you have been there under the previous name, its definitely worth giving them another shot. The owner and the rest of the guys there are all good people and try their best to provide you with...
Read moreI’m a sucker for places that cook BECs 24 hours a day, so I stopped in and gave them a shot. No complaints—better than the majority of the others in the area. Reminds me of the bodega egg sandwiches I get over in Queens and Brooklyn. The whole place has that feel to it. Not the traditional Long Island German/Italian deli, but half those places microwave the hot stuff anyway. The BEC was fresh from the grill, the bacon was good—not like that paper-thin crumble stuff you find down the turnpike “cough cough A&S”, cashier was friendly and the cooks were fast. I...
