Greis Park — Attraction in Town of Hempstead

I used to love bringing my son here, hes 3 and absolutely loves it. But now when we go there, there's 20 high school kids taking over every playground. All sitting ontop of eachother on the slide blocking them all. Blasting innapropriate music. Its really innapropriate and other parents feel uncomfortable w. It as well. I have to tell my baby, as well as other parents have "no you cant go on the playground now," that we just got excited for and came all the way to, b.c theres 20 teenagers sitting on each of them smoking or vaping. Nice park in Lynbrook situated between Sunrise Highway and Merrick Rd. Multiple baseball fields, although the 90ft base one is currently in worn condition. New multisport turf field recently installed but not used much so far, likely due to Covid and time of year. This place may be better on the winter but I couldn't say. Went there for a soccer game and the field wasn't so nice. They have picnic tables and BBQs, a pool and bacci. Looks like it could be nice during the summer. I remember going there as a kid when I was about 5 years old in the early 70s and always enjoyed it. They've got a fenced in playground...
