Walgreens — Local services in Town of Hempstead

Today Wednesday, December 20th I placed an online order. I received a text that my order was ready to let them know when I am on the way. When I clicked I am here it gave me an option of curbside pick up. I selected as for easier convenience. It says once you click it if nobody comes out in 5 minutes to call the store. That’s what I did waited on hold for about another 10 mins. A Indian man answered the phone he never said what his name was. I let him know I was waiting curbside he says the store doesn’t offer curbside and I would have to come inside. I said how could that be if it’s an option online and I am sitting in curbside pickup #2. He says well you have to come in and pay again no I don’t it was already paid for. He says let me check your order and hangs up the phone one me. That frustrated me you have already lied and now you hung up! I now enter the store with my toddler, why I chose curbside. He immediately knew it was me I said why would you hang up he said he didn’t. Again lying. I ask to speak to a manger because at this point I no longer want to deal with you because clearly you do not know what your job is or what the store has to offer. The manger came over I explained the situation to him. He showed no real concern and gave me my order. I asked for the gentleman’s name and its Nomanda the spelling is probably incorrect. The pharmacy is excellent but Thank God this store is finally getting taken over by Walgreens. The front Staff is rude and disrespectful. Store is unorganized and when you ask someone where something is they refuse to walk and show you they would rather point and say "over there". Credit card machines dont function and constantly have issues, employees take pride in announcing "you card dont work! You have no money!" At the top of they're lungs in a busy store, when simply the machine is clearly broken by the look of the worn out buttons. Never a manager at night only employees who rather see a line 10 people long waiting for 40 mins than to help checkout. I hope Walgreens brings in trainers or they're own staff because customer service like this belongs in a bar not a retail establishment. This Walgreens has horrible Customer Service! I placed a PHOTO pick up order on line that generated a time the order would be ready which was at 8:50pm. When I arrive at the store I was told that they didn’t have any paper so come back tomorrow!! I needed the PHOTO for the next Morning to bring to my Daughter’s School because she made STUDENT OF THE MONTH so her picture had to be posted up with her BIO about herself the next day! The worker showed no concern that someone had messed up! It was just swept under the rug as if nothing happened! This place disgust me to treat customers this way with no apology for how they handled the order plus the situation knowing their worker handled my order wrong! Don’t waste your time shopping here!
