Worst customer experience . Major mean girl vibes from manager and employee making up some BS.
Today, I went to this location to do an item exchange. I accidentally ordered the wrong item online for my bf’s christmas gift. I received said wrong item this morning in the mail and then, I immediately headed to the store. I waited 20 min on line. The cashier started the exchange and then halfway through the interaction changed her mind randomly and claimed she couldn't take the item.
When I asked why they wouldn't be able to take it back, the only information I was given was that the item had a “smell” and that they could not resell/accept it on the floor. The manager happened to be standing one register over and upon coming over- she immediately sided with the cashier without even hearing out the situation or even physically smelling the item?
Then, they just stared at me afterwards like I was doing something wrong for trying to exchange something I ALREADY paid for. It was really so bizarre. Also, it low-key was super embarrassing in-front of a long line of people to have this happen when there is absolutely no sense behind it. I did not deserve the power trip attitude (Mind you I drove over 2 hours to be able to do this today)
I didn’t give a hard time or argue. I explained to them that there was no way it could have a smell because I received the item the same exact day from the manufacturer and it sat in the box until I got to the location. The manager goes “Well I don’t know what happened between then and now. We can’t accept this.”
Does this sound like a professional response to you? Looking at the other reviews makes me understand this isn't the first incident here. Sounds like there is an extreme discrimination issue here as well idk. Right before...
Read moreI went to lululemon with my husband on my birthday and he bought me a pair of leggings in their store which I have done before. They didn't have the same leggings in black so my husband ordered the leggings with a lady in the store and spent over $200 dollars. You would think I would of received those leggings since we spent a great deal of money these leggings are not cheap. we'll hate to break peoples bumble but I never received those leggings they originally said on FedEx that I was supposed to receive them on oct 5th that day came and went. I kept checking FedEx and it changed to delivery date pending and that they were coming from Ohio but never left Ohio. so I reached out to the company and you would think that they would allow someone to go to a different store to pick up the leggings when we purchased them. well that is not the case either they just said oh if you don't receive the leggings by oct 12th reach back out to us. So on Oct 11th I reached back out to lululemon about the leggings since I still haven't received them. The best they could do was refund my husband the money we spent on the order. I will never purchase leggings in...
Read moreI had a very pleasant experience at Lululemon in Walt Whitman mall recently! Amanda, the manager, went above and beyond for me.
I am often in the store looking around and chatting with some of the more friendly employees. A few days ago during one of these conversations, I was explaining how I had been emailed a discount code from Lululemon and purchased a bunch of items that ultimately never got delivered. Corporate opened a case and initially didn't even offer me a refund or replacement for the items. 2 more phone calls later and another case review, they did refund my money (whew!), but never offered any reinstatement of the discount code. The store employee (Jen) was so empathetic and went to Amanda the manager, while I was in the fitting room. Amanda was apologetic over the situation (totally not necessary) and then very generously offered a courtesy discount to me! This gesture of good will was so impressive to me; what wonderful customer service! Thank you...
