I was amazed at the treatment that I had from John the jeweler. I had an expensive piece of jewelry that needed fixing. I’m old-school and always used a particular jeweler who is no longer with us. I was very hesitant finding a new jeweler. My friend had used him for some simple things but after reading his reviews I decided to give it a try. Wow, am I glad I did. Not only was he able to fix my diamond bracelet, but he looked at my engagement ring and saw my stone was loose, and fixed it for no charge. Then when I came to pick up my jewelry he asked if I wanted my diamond wedding band which is an eternity band steamed. I said sure if you don’t mind. He checked all the diamonds in the band and said he wouldn’t steam it because one was loose. He held onto the loose stone and lightly steamed it for me, because I was going out and wanted it cleaned. He told me to come back after the holiday and he would tighten the stone. This is a true jeweler. Like the old days. He doesn’t just fix what you bring in he looks at everything to make sure your jewelry is in tiptop shape. Not only does he do good work but he’s very personable warm and friendly. I’m so glad I came across him and will be using him for everything in the future.
I highly recommend him in the Commack Jewelry Exchange, first booth on the left when you walk...
Read moreA few years I had my engagement reset by another jeweler in the Commack exchange , the ring turned out fine. Along with that I had my original ring reset with what I wanted a pink saphire, well it was not a pink saphire it was glass. My experience with John has been wonderful he fixed my wedding band it had split his job was so exceptional you would never know it had broken. His help with customers has never been pushy or condescending I have seen him more than once give advise as to how a woman in particular could get the maximum amount on a diamond ring she needed to sell. He seems to consider the needs of a customers best interest above his financial gain. I can say that because this past weekend I went to get a specific type ring redone he advised me it could not be done with the setting I had, he took the time to show me books as well as discuss making what I wanted. He also directed me to take my time to to get what I really wanted. He suggested where to search on the Internet to get ideas, all of this never once pushing me to buy anything in showcase that was not what I wanted. So in essence John has been honest and caring and defiantly not out to rip you off as I have had with another...
Read moreI LOVE Keepsake Diamonds!! John is amazing. I first came to him for watch batteries and then started looking at his jewelry. Since then I’ve had him modify several rings and purchased a gorgeous vintage gold and Pearl ring that was so unique. I love shopping with John because he is a 4th generation jeweler (you hang out there enough you start getting personal and asking questions). He hand selects every piece to keep his collection so stunning and unlike anything else you see everywhere else.
Aside from having incredible new pieces he also has an array of vintage and antique jewelry that are just incredible. I truly love going in there to shop with him and find my special jewels to add to my collection.
I cannot say enough nice things about Keepsake. They’re kind, have the best prices, and go out of their way to make you feel like family.
Every time I pop in he always asks me to take off my jewelry and cleans them. It’s so generous and one of the million reasons why I will be a forever client.
I highly recommend them for all of your jewelry needs.
Thank you Keepsake and especially John for making me feel so happy every time I walk...
