ALDI — Local services in Town of Islip

Today I went in the store 5 minutes before 8pm. I know they close at 8 but due to traffic getting from the bronx I couldn't make on time much before the 8. But other people was getting in and I got in as well because I just wanted to buy just 1 gallon of milk for my daughter but when cashier saw me getting she said oh no we close get out, we close I said I don't want much I'm just getting a gallon of milk. Someone else was behind me she did not stop the last person behind me.im ok I just got out because I felt a type of way. But image that was no other I Dont she would support what she just did to me.most if the selfcheck out was empty. Just got gallon of milk I got kicked out. The manager should hire more professional people for their position. They just want to work to earn money but customer service skills they Dont have that. Don’t shop at ALDI. They don’t support mothers with children. I have a toddler and I just tried the new beautiful Central Islip location and to my dismay, the shopping carts required a quarter to be released. Like it is 1995 at Rockbottoms. I use a card for everything, I don’t have a quarter. I saw multiple other shoppers go up the carts and then walk away after needing a quarter to release a cart. You spend the money to open this gorgeous store that is petty enough to require money to release the carts. If you are worried about the carts going missing, then don’t open a store in the location. If you are open there, then own it and support your shoppers. So how is a mom supposed to go shopping while holding a three year old’s hand in the store? This location seems like they opened it, then didn't care to maintain it. I went there for the first time last week and was grossed out. The outside was already dirty and unkempt. There was spoiled produce as well. It just seems like the owners or managers don't care to maintain this location as well as some others, and they certainly don't care to give the people in this neighborhood a clean and exemplary shopping experience. I'm an avid Aldi shopper, and I've shopped at several locations in this area. I've never been to one where all the items in one produce section were spoiled.
