The Belmont at Eastview — Local services in Town of Islip

The most beautiful place to live. From the time the community was being advertised i wanted to be apart of the belmont at eastview family and almost a year later i moved into my dream home ! Jennifer, Kami, Janet & Anthony at the leasing office have been nothing short of amazing to me and my family. They are incredibly helpful and welcoming and they are there 7 days a week for all your needs. I moved in almost a month ago now and they say time flies when you’re having fun and they mean it. lol. My daughter and mother have their own bathroom and i have my own in the master bedroom which is amazing and roomy and bright and i fall in love every time i walk into my walk in closet. The appliances are all state of the art WHIRLPOOL. Did i mention you get your own washer machine and dryer ! Everything you need inside an apartment, in the month i’ve been here i’ve barely left lol ! If i want to take my daughter to the park i just walk right down stairs and i'm still home. You see your neighbors walking their dogs and running around the track , children playing in the multiple parks on the grounds. I literally could go on and on about my new home but i’ll end by saying make the move if your thinking about it. Definetly worth every penny, besides you get free wifi and target, subway, popeyes, dollar tree and home depot are across the street. Honest Review/Opinion from someone who has lived at this complex for over six months. If you notice there are no reviews from the last five months. In September 2023 (five months ago) they were offering google "raffle for reviews" for letting people know how happy you are living here. If you are looking for a peaceful home, this is not the place for you. You can hear EVERYTHING from every apartment next to you and above you. Everything from conversations, using the bathroom, screaming children, fighting parents, you can even hear if someone coughs. The walls are pretty thin. We've already had to move out of one of the apartments due to the level of noise and not being able to sleep. Plus other tenants came with roaches that were starting to come down into our apartment. Everything is electric so expect high electricity bills. We live in one of the single level units and the smell of our neighbors cooking seeps into our unit as well as when the other tenant smoke weed in their apartments. We've experienced a lot of issues living here which, unfortunately, has lead to an unpleasant living...

Beautiful apartment complex. All of the staff have been professional and respectful. I love that they kept the original architectural style. It doesn't feel like a cookie cutter complex but one that has some character but is very modern. I like the walking paths and seeing the pets. There are beautiful old trees here that are impressive, as well as excellent variety of news trees and plants. Their landscaping is beautiful. There is even a pet grooming room, and a garden that residents can purchase a plot to plant their own plants. If my own personal situation was different, I would love to stay. It's a little pricey for me right now. This isn't a complaint about the Belmont but about the area. It's hard to get around without a car here even though there is a bus stop right outside, and a LIRR train station 10 minute drive from here. Seems that Central Islip can't decide if it's suburbia or a small city. If it had better mass transit and updated infrastructure, this area could be so much more interesting. It's been a...
