Ardene — Local services in Town of Islip

One of the most cleanest retail stores I've even been in and the customer service was like no other. Upon walking in I was greeted by a sales associate who handed me a shopping bag as she explained all the promotions that were going on in the store. As I was walking around Jack assisted me to all of the newer products in the store and put together outfits for me to try on. Once I was ready to try on my items a lovely lady named Liz helped me into a fitting room and told me to come out so she could see the clothes on me. Each time I tried on an outfit she made me feel so beautiful and confident I couldn't pass them up! Finally, I was ready to check out and Liz brought my things to the register for me and explained if I signed up for their loyalty program I would receive 10% off EACH time I shopped with them! AMAZING!!!! After my transaction was complete she remembered my name and thanked me for stopping in and said to enjoy my vacation. That made me feel so special because it wasn't obvious that her and Jack were just trying to sell me something, they actually took the time to get to know me and gave me an amazing experience. I usually don’t take the time to write messages like this, but I feel it’s important to speak up about a situation I witnessed during my recent visit to your store.

While I was shopping, I observed a manager publicly scolding an employee for a mistake with a transaction. Rather than addressing the issue privately, the manager chose to raise their voice in front of customers, which I found extremely unprofessional and uncomfortable to witness. When a fellow customer stepped in to point out that the manager’s behavior was inappropriate, the manager apologized—but then continued to rant about the employee’s mistake, even saying, “This is why I didn’t want so-and-so on registers.”

As a customer, I found this to be very disheartening. Everyone deserves to be treated with respect, especially in a work environment. Because of this incident, I’ve decided I will not be returning...

Absolutely love this store employees are always asking if I need anything and are happy to help all the time . I always notice the employees enthusiasm When I see them at the register . I work in retail so its nice seeing the workers like this. I always see them do their job and attending to the stores needs ! This store always has nice shoes and a variety of them and scarves and kimonos which is lovely !! It’s always neat and tidy almost looks untouched whenever I drop in ! Really...
