Read moreI bought my first baseball glove here after more than forty years. Fifty dollars. Really. My last one was fifteen, but you could buy a Corolla for four thousand. It's all relative. Then I found myself looking at cycling jerseys which cost one-third to one-half the price of those found at local bike shops. I like that because I don't wash them right away...I just buy new ones. So I looked around and said to self: "hmm... crossbows"... What could I do with that since I don't hunt? Okay, I hunt for the last beer in the fridge, but that's it...and I refuse to puncture perfectly good beer cans while they are in captivity. There's no sport in that. I stretched my brain to figure what I would use it for. I came up empty. Looked at the bikes. I have five..and their two-wheelers are generally toy qualityinsert here
I consistently walk the mall for exercise. Iam in the market for a new step counter/heart rate monitor. I figured I would check upstairs by the fitness equipment once I realized it wasn't there I asked an employee upstairs for help. He told me if they did have one it would have been in the case by the register so I went there to look. I didn't see anything and so I asked the employee in that department for help. Now this part was my mistake I didn't realize that he was helping another customer. She was rude but that's not dicks or the employees fault. Before I realized he was helping her I just asked the simple question does this store carry heart rate moniters/ step counters. The employee working the front told me he had one in the back with a brand Ive never heard of he didn't know the price or what was for sale and Just for anybody who may be reading this Iam no tire kicker I was there to buy. After our short interaction I just told him thank you anyways maybe next time. Which I just said to be polite but the truth is I will not be buying one of those monitors from this location. There is not one single thing for sale there that cant be purchased online for less and I was there with my debit card in hand. But will never return again. Retail is about customer service and thats not it. Thank you for taking the time to read my review...
Read moreThe girl Kristina who works the register is just an unhappy person. I don’t think she has smiled in 5 years. She loves to examine coupons like a CSI investigation. She takes great pride in trying to stop you from using a coupon. One time she told me she didn’t recognize the coupon I had (Sayville little league) because they have them in a book behind the counter. I had to get the manager to get 20 percent off. Months later my phone died in store and I asked her if she could just look up the coupon in the “book” since she told me last time they are all in there. She said nope. I need to see the coupon. But guess what. I didn’t have my car charger. So I had to drive 20 minutes home, charge my phone and then drive 20 minutes back to get the 20 percent off. It’s the most absurd thing I’ve ever seen.
She also loves to examine returns and interrogate you like a crime scene as well. “Is there anything wrong with it ?” “No, just don’t need it” “So why are your returning it” “I just don’t need it” “Is there a particular reason why you are returning it “
Huh?
I’ve never seen anything like it. You would think she gets some kind of cash bonus for denying coupons and making returns difficult. I try to go to the register closest to the mall now so I don’t have to...
