I wandered into Guru in Sayville during a casual stroll, drawn in by the beautiful colors outside—and I’m so grateful I did. Hema, the owner, welcomed me with warmth and spent nearly an hour sharing her deep knowledge of healing modalities like sound bowls, tuning forks, crystals, and Reiki. Her energy is truly extraordinary.

I also had the pleasure of meeting Hector and returned for a Reiki session with him—it was by far the most powerful I’ve experienced. I’ve worked with healers around the world, and Hector’s authenticity and intuitive gift stand out. The shifts I experienced during my visit have had a lasting impact on both my personal and professional life.

Even though I live 45 minutes away, I happily make the trip back. It’s worth every minute and every penny to invest in your well-being. I rarely leave reviews, but felt compelled in case someone out there is looking for a sign—this is it.

My first experience at this powerful little store was a few years back, when they had literally transformed my whole life. I was going through the lowest point of my life when Hector did healing on me, and from that point on my life changed drastically. I went back in today for the first time since then, and was immediately greeted by Hema, who not only remembered me from all those years back, but also gave me information and guidance for my health and my new journey as an empath. It is very hard to find people who are genuine and so loving and caring, but you find that here in this store, however it’s much more then a store, it’s more like a solace. Walking into Guru's is always such a pleasant and positive experience. I even go there on some of my bad days because Hena is always an amazing person to talk to who never fails to offer insight into my needs as well as a listening ear. You feel like family here. The selection of crystals, metaphysical gifts and especially the jewelry - will keep you intrigued and in awe while you're in the store. It's an experience. Hector is also an incredible healer and a joy to speak to. They treat their crystals with special care which is why I always feel comfortable obtaining them there.
