Her attention to detail and skill are truly exceptional. Altering a wedding dress is no easy task, but she handled it with such precision and care. On top of the alterations, she even created a custom piece for me, which turned out absolutely perfect. The quality of her work is impeccable—the stitching, the fit, everything was flawless.

She was also completely transparent with pricing, which was very fair for the level of craftsmanship she delivered. I especially appreciated how she clearly communicated what to expect throughout the process, and how collaborative she was—brainstorming ideas with me to make sure everything turned out just right.

TANYA SAVED THE DAY!!!! 2 days before prom we went to pick up my daughters dress from another seamstress. We went a week earlier to have her dress hemmed, It fit perfectly except for the length. , my daughter went into dressing room and a dress that fit a week earlier, wouldn’t even pull down over her hips. The seamstress claims she did nothing other than hem , blamed it on it being hot , told us to take home and try on in AC and sent us on our way. Furious and upset I was frantic to find someone we could trust and who could help us last minute. Tanya’s name kept coming up. I called Tanya , explained the situation and she had us come right in! Tanya noticed the dress was 4 inches too small 4 INCHES!!! Tanya assured my panicked daughter that she would fix her dress and she’d be going to prom in her dress and enjoying her time! I have used Tanya twice now. Once for my wedding dress and most recently a bridesmaid’s dress. I am reviewing my more recent experience as it was not the same as when I had my wedding dress altered. After my wedding I had recommended Tanya to multiple Friends and family, but I’m regretting that after my last experience with her. My bridesmaid dress just needed the outer thin chiffon layer hemmed (not the inner layer). She charged me $55. When my friend who was also in the same wedding party went to her she charged her $60 and she had both layers hemmed- did she think we weren’t going to talk?? Her pricing is inconsistent. Additionally, she wanted to charge me $40 for a belt (that I was providing) to be sewn on- ridiculous. I ended up getting my belt sewed on somewhere else for $20.
