Second time trying to use curbside order system, I understand we selected no subs for several items but why substitute one cut of beef for another without checking with the customers?… also we had to call to find out that there were three things extra not listed in the damn voicemail about missing products. I need to know how they’re out of steak, French fries, whole meals! I’m highly allergic to high concentrations of gluten so I was hoping stop & shop would be mindful of this except they’re not. How do you run out of green tea? Or frozen sauced potatoes?!?! Yes I would say it’s a guessing game at this point to knowing what’s actually in stock. Swapping a two pack of filet mignon for a single beef tenderloin steak? Disappointed in the inability of stop & shop to keep things in stock. First time doing curbside same issue occurred. They were out of more than half our order. But then calling us three hours ahead of order time to tell us certain things were sold out to have to call to find out more of my order isn’t available? Totally ridiculous and unreliable to keep items online that are sold out. Scared to try and order from this location agin true to...
Read moreTHIS STOP AND SHOP DOES NOT EVEN DESERVE ONE STAR. The store is dirty and the staff is rude. It is poorly managed and everyone working there clearly needs an attitude adjustment. The employees (mostly the cashiers and front staff ) spend more time on their phones then helping customers or trying to keep the store clean. They whisper rude remarks under their breath and give you dirt looks. I have lived in the town and been going to this store for 17years and I have never seen a smile on anyone's face. There customer service is pitiful. Tonight I watched one of the head staff run out of the store after a woman who had forgotten to pay for some large items that were under her cart and accuse her of being a thief in front of other shoppers in the parking lot. clearly the woman had simply forgotten that she had items at the bottom of her cart because she apologized and ran back in to pay for the items. She was so embarrassed!!! Your best off going somewhere else. I know I will be !! No customer deserves to be...
Read moreIf I could give them zero stars I would. Most, if not all, of the employees here are nasty and borderline hostile, particularly about an hour before closing time. I have been (wrongfully) accused of using the wrong form of payment when the self-service kiosk was not working, hovered over when I was trying to make a quick purchase a full 1/2 hour before closing (note to employees trying to rush me out the door: I made sure I went as SLOWLY as possible), and just generally condescended to and ignored all because I made the mistake of trying to purchase items from this business. Each time I'm forced to come here—usually because I need something at an inconvenient hour and don't feel like driving far—I brace myself for a confrontation. Unfortunately, in Westchester County, it seems as though you get what you pay for. Head over to Whole Foods if you want...
