Port Washington Union Free School District — Local services in Town of North Hempstead

I am deeply disappointed in the Port Washington School District for remaining silent on the issue of regionalization. This is a critical matter that has far-reaching implications for our community and our children’s education. While so many other school districts have clearly voiced their opposition to regionalization, our PW Board of Education has chosen not to take a stand. By staying silent, they are failing to represent the interests of Port Washington residents. We deserve a board that advocates for our community’s values and fights to protect our schools from decisions that could diminish the quality of education we’ve worked so hard to achieve.
