Repair Time: 5/5 Dropped off a company tablet for a battery replacement. They didn't have the battery in-stock for it since it was an older device. Overnighted it and completed battery replacement quickly. Got a text confirming it was complete late Saturday, and picked it up on Monday when I was back at work.
Repair Quality: 5/5 It has only been a couple hours since picking up the tablet, and it's working as expected. There are also no visible marks on the device from them opening it up to replace the battery. I will update this score if anything changes.
Value: 4/5 For the parts and labor to replace the battery, it was pretty on-par for what I would expect.
Customer Service: 3/5 Little things added up. Hours online are listed as 10am-5pm Sunday through Friday, and Saturday 10am-3pm at the time of this review. I initially showed up on Friday around 10:15am to find a sign on the door saying they'd be back at 11am. There also was half a dozen or more signs taped to a bookshelf with various other times on them, so this appears to be a common occurrence. Staff were there at exactly 11am. Picked up the tablet today (Monday.) Staff member provided me the tablet, but I had to remind them the tablet came in with a case on it. When it came time to pay, the same staff member mentioned their card reader was down and had been that way for 2 weeks. He suggested using the ATM in the mall to withdraw cash to pay, but I came in with a company credit card. He then asked if I had PayPal, CashApp or Zelle, which our company does not use. I told him I'd have to leave and come back with cash. He then called his manager to speak with him about it, and then decided to give their card reader a try to see if it was now working, which it was. When running my payment, he added $4.05 to the total and wrote it in on the work order without saying why. After reading the work order, which mentions a 3% non-cash fee, I'm assuming it's because I paid with a Credit Card.
Overall, my experience was fair. The fair pricing and speed at which they completed the repair was excellent, but the customer service left something to be desired. Better communication would be...
Read moreDon't trust your phone with them. Screen went black. Took it there. They had over a month telling me all different excuses. First battery then a charging cable. They sent it out to a soldering place in Nebraska. Got a call that they got it back and works to pick it up. Go there and now it's not working and they fried my phone. The lady there even said it was their fault even another tech guy. But boss denied it and wouldn't make things right. Gave me my phone back and they deleted my sd card as well. Very unprofessional and horrible service. Boss accused me of verbally abusing the staff. I have never said anything against his staff. They were nice to me and even told me the boss should make it right. I was on phone mostly with Shelly and never disrespected her. The phone was repairable and their new tech guy even told me . The Boss Hassan is very...
Read moreGreat experience with this store in getting a new phone activated. Even though the owner Hasan was busy with a number of other projects, he spent significant time working with customer service to port the number from a damaged phone and get the new phone running. Considering the amount of time required and the obstacles involved, the fee charged was very reasonable. Great place if you get in a jam activating a phone, but it looks as though it would also be the spot if you had a phone or tablet that...
