Review from my husband who has had to handle our current situation:
Unfortunately my experience at Orville's in Orchard Park was not great. And because the customer service was so bad, I figured I'd let everyone else know before wasting their time. Our sales rep Craig could not have been more rude. My wife and I bought a washer, dryer, microwave, stove, refrigerator, and chest freezer from them. I paid for delivery. Both the washer and dryer delivered were damaged and the microwave was smashed. The next day, they brought the washer and dryer, but forgot the microwave. When I called, they said I had to pick it up. (I paid for delivery). We then hooked up the refrigerator to the water supply and the next day found water leaking from the freezer onto our new floors. When we called about that problem, they said it was a manufacturers issue and that I had to deal with them separately. This is less then 30 days into having the appliances. When I went to the store to discuss this with Craig, I was told there was nothing they could do to help, even though I paid for delivery and that I had to get the microwave myself. They also could not take the fridge back. They referred my wife and I to the manufacturers 1-800 contact number, which then gave us a date for a service tech to look at the refrigerator. The service tech who works for a completely different company did not know about the date the manufacturer told us because the manufacturer overbooked and miscommunicated. Read moreI only gave 1 star because zero wasn't an option. Purchased 4 appliances in one purchase. Stove was delivered damaged. To avoid paying the installer to come back, we purchased another model the same day, extra cost was $500. Nobody at Orivilles cared, they did nothing for us, and got a better sale. Next, dishwasher was installed, heater didn't work. Orivilles told us contact LG directly to set up the repair. Unit was brand new still. Orivilles should have delivered a new unit, not tell us to call LG. Also purchased 5 yr warranty but that doesn't matter either. Once Orivilles sells the unit, they do nothing to help, and simply say call the manufacturer, takes no responsibility even right after the unit is installed. LGs tech didn't have the part, said he wasn't sure if and when a part would be available. No answers. No choice but to purchase another unit and work through seeking a refund from someone, also then paid another delivery fee and install fee for the new unit. Now LG won't refund us, Orivilles blames LG, also purchased 5 yr warrenty from NewLeaf, but was told to call LG directly. LGs repair company (A&E) was a no show for the repair appt, after they told us they can repair the unit. Can't even call A&E, they only do online chats. Absolute disaster. Orivilles was no help and blamed the manufacturers. You will get zero support. LG can care less about one customer with a "brand new" broken dishwasher. We did nothing wrong, and had simple expectations of brand new appliances that worked on Day 1. I asked Orivilles for a credit, do something, they did nothing except blame LG. We purchased the extended warranty that the salesman told us about for the extra roughly $300 per appliance. To us money is no issue when it comes to exemplary service. We were mislead. His words were "Our service dept is very prompt about repairs" Ha...well they wouldn't even schedule us for a repair, instead they send out a local repair man 4 days after we called. He had no answers on receiving the necessary parts. Finally after 1 week we got a call telling us our parts were ordered and they are going to be here in 7-10 business days???!!!! So were have to live without our fridge roughly 3 WEEKS! WTF! In my frustrations i call the manager at the Orville's on Amelia drive in orchard park ny where we made our purchases. He would not do anything for us and proceeded to say "well its kinda out of hands at this point" and told me that he can have a fridge delivered to our house but we have to put it on a credit card until our fridge is fixed.....rent a fridge from the store that we bought ours from. that is the dumbest load of crap i have ever heard.....They took our money and then told us were on our own!
