This restaurant used to be a favorite of mine, but after today I'm so done with this place. I treated my daughter to dinner for her birthday today and the service we received was terrible! My waitress should be very thankful that I'm not a complete jerk, because I wanted to give her nothing for a tip! But instead, I still have her a very undeserved 18% Longhorn has become just like every other place who jacks up the pricing and gives you less. The menu states the dinners come with a side. If you're going to pick and choose which of your sides the dinners come with where you won't be charged extra, then you should list those sides on the menu of the dinners! To charge people $2 extra for asparagus to come with their $30 dinner is nothing more than pure greed! I didn't even know of the uncharged until I got my bill. Taking advantage of your customers is not the way to go. If you're not going to post the available free sides on the menu wth the dinners, then maybe the waitresses should mention it. Fast forward, we got seated at 610 and our waitress runs by the table saying I'll be right with you. 6:24 comes and a family of 3 is seated across from us. Mind you we've been sitting for 14 minutes now without even being asked if we wanted something to drink. The people that just came in were able to get their drinks taken by our waitress within 5 minutes! Now she brings the drinks back and takes their order! My daughter and I sit still waiting to be offered at least a glass of water. Finally, we get acknowledged 25 minutes after sitting. Now we wait for our food. Our food gets brought to us by a DIFFERENT waitress and our food is cold! It was clearly sitting in the window waiting to be served. Were we supposed to go get our food ourselves? The other table mentioned got their food served by our shared waitress in a timely manner. At least they got warm food. Almost half way through and after getting there for over an hour we are asked by our waitress how is everything. I said besides eating cold food? Good. She asked if I wanted to send it back and have both dinners remade. I declined. I was irritated at this point and did not want to wait any longer to eat my dinner. I told the waitress our food must have been sitting in the window and she apologizes and AGREES that it probably was. Why? Why was everyone else getting serviced and we were like the black sheep in the place? It started making me feel like judgement was being passed. Another server, a male, went by our table and I asked if he could get us water. He just kept on going! Is this the treatment you give your customers? $100 bill for 2 people to eat cold food and get crap...
Read moreI went with my family to celebrate my mothers birthday, after I sat with my family down at the table. The waitress was friendly and she check up on us a lot, mostly because there was barely any people in the establishment. But I order the sirloin and shrimp, but I asked for a 8 ounce steak instead of the 6 ounces. However, when getting my steak, I notice my boyfriend’s steak being a 8 ounce steak, was clearly bigger than my steak. I didn’t want to make any complaints, but my father saw that it was completely unfair and asked the waitress to see if I could at least get a bigger steak or see if the cooks made it by mistake. She then said “I’ll get the manager." And then the manager, Pam, she asks is there anything wrong and then we explain that there’s a completely different in sized. She then said there’s a science with cooking steaks, she went on and on about a certain way and I could tell that she just didn’t want to at least get the right steak, then she said that I was back in the kitchen and it is a 8 once steak and I completely understand if she could of just been honest with that it was a small mistake but she clearly did not want to fix it and it felt that we were in the wrong. I was in management and that is not the way to take care of it, sadly this will be the last time ever coming to this place, if they treat customers nicely and they didn’t treat people like they are in the wrong, I wouldn’t be writing this, all I ask that you need to change the attitude with you and...
Read moreAbsolutely abysmal. My party of 4 and I came into the orchard park location around 630pm on monday evening. Throughout the entire experience there were minimal if any servers on the floor to help anyone. We had to ask multiple times for drink refills, bread refills, and were clearly being rushed through the entire experience. Our salads clearly sat in the back because our server was too busy talking to the bartender or she had gone outside because she was nowhere to be found. Upon arriving at the table the salads were soggy... Our entree arrived less than 2 minutes later. The food runners slammed our food on the table and stormed off. My steak (12oz strip) was mid-well on one side, and rare on the other. I ordered mid-rare. We had to speak to two different managers after one of our meals (a salmon) was gray and clearly had sat in hot water or some other liquid. The manager claimed it was the skin... and offered us a new one. The new salmon took 17 minutes to come out. In that 17 minutes we were not checked on at all. The second salmon came out and the manager immediately asked if it was alright before it was tasted. Our server still had not come over to ask if everything was alright. We were not offered more water, simply had the check slammed down in an attempt to force us out. We are repeat customers, the past experiences have never been like this. Needless to say we will not be returning. Higher management needs to step in before anyone else has such a...
