IFix — Local services in Town of Oyster Bay

Probably one of the worst Phone repair stores I have ever been to. I had gotten my phone screen "repaired" a week before going to California and a day later, I saw lines going down my phone and the color of the screen was completely blurry and hazy. I called the store and the owners response/question was if I dropped the phone on the floor. First and foremost, I never dropped my phone on the floor after I supposedly got it repaired by this store. Second, if the phone fell on the floor, you mean to tell me that it would cause lines all across it when ive had this phone for quite a few years and nothing like that has ever occurred even when I dropped my phone a few times . It was the last time it fell that convinced me that i needed to get the screen repaired and went to this cheap store. Very fishy. I tried calling the store from my phone several times and it was ignored or sent to voicemail, knowing my callers id was showing. I remember last week when I called, the store owner picked up the phone in a matter of seconds because he did not know me as a customer. I would suggest not wasting money at this place. They sell cheap phone screens and give customers the run around/ ignore them when the issue was addressed. Go to IfixScreens HIcksville or Phonefixit who are both located near this store location as they are much more hospitable and do a better job with fixing screens/avoid...

My son's iPhone 7 wouldn't charge past 15%. We tried multiple wires and adapters. We took the phone to Verizon who stated it would cost $120 to repair (the contract is up September 2018). The Verizon salesmen said "why don't you go to my friend Vijay first? He will tell you if you need a new port. He's honest, he won't sell you something you don't need". We went to Vijay. He said it's not the port, it's the wire. To which I responded, "we tried 3 different wires at home and none of them fix problem. Must be the port." Vijay asked that we bring in the phone the next day so he could do a diagnostic on it. He called me stating he was he was able to charge the phone to 100% and sold us an updated aftermarket lightening charger. Problem solved. My son said the phone charges perfectly now. We were charged only $38. Vijay saved us $82.00. I highly recommend IFix. Vijay is a honest, friendly, & professional business man. We will absolutely return to him for our tech repair needs. I called this place, spoke to vijay over the phone decided to give the place a shot. Battery was going on my iPhone 12… he was very honest with me about everything I even needed a extra work phone, he was patient with me when I had to step out side the store multiple times, never pushed me to buy anything at all, he even recommended me to get 1 thing fixed from Apple and help me make the appointment at the nearest location.
